Arians Grande to play Penny!! Really glad with this casting! So far Ariana, Jennifer and Kristen have been my favourite casting!
Really hope this is shown in the UK

Arians Grande to play Penny!! Really glad with this casting! So far Ariana, Jennifer and Kristen have been my favourite casting! Really hope this is shown in the UK I would of thought Ariana would be more an Amber, especially as Penny isn't that much of a singer role. But great casting all round!
Also, it is Kristin, not Kristen.

Ariana Grande? I've seen her a few times on Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show and thought she was just bad. Such a paperthin voice. Terrible casting choice.

I must've confused her with Demi Lovato. Still not overly happy with Ariana Grande being cast, but I don't think it'll be as bad as I feared this morning. |

Maybe the guy that was 'the replacement Cory Monteith' in Glee that they found on the Glee project. He would make an excellent Link and has the teeth for it...help me out here. He was just in a movie that never came anywhere near me so I couldn't see it...by the 'Boyhood' and 'Dazed & Confused' guy...pah! you lot are useless |

Some more casting (final I think)
Dove Cameron to play Amber and Garrett Clayton as Link. From the looks of it, they are both stars of Disney Channel.
Really like this cast, any idea if ITV2 will air this over here like they did with Grease?

Has anybody heard anything else about this being aired in the UK? All the promo looks AMAZING and I love the cast - I'm sure it will be great!
NBC have never aired a musical of theirs in the UK before so I'm hoping loads that they will give the rights to a UK broadcaster to air this. Hairspray is a great musical and I'm sure it would get the viewing figures.

You're wrong there, NBC's Sound of Music did air here on Channel 4 about 4 months after it went out but it wasn't really received particularly well so I presume that's why it's not happened since
