Sounds like they're jumping on the Ain't Too Proud bandwagon.

From looking at the site, it seems that Beverley is doing all of the shows. This is a change when she didn't do matinees of Bodyguard, Memphis, and Cats. Im sure this will be a big sing for here so interesting it doesn't say anything on the site about another actress. It does say she has a holiday for a week in January.

www.theatreroyal.co.uk/whats-on/the-drifters-girlLooks like the Newcastle run is re-scheduled to next year. The description there still describes it as prior to the West End, but no details yet on whether West End is postponed too as both the official website (https://www.thedriftersgirl.com/tickets) and Nimax (https://ticketing.nimaxtheatres.com/tickets/series/GATDG01M) give impression it's still opening October 2020.

Indeed, Mark. If all sectors of the economy are not fully reopen by autumn 2021, we'll have unemployment on an unprecedented scale and widespread civil unrest. Maybe that's what the NWO want?

God knows. I think we will start seeing wide scale unrest from November if all areas aren't allowed to fully reopen if i'm honest.

Let's concentrate on the positives! After the London Palladium pilot with ALW, at least we know Beverley Knight wants to get back to doing what she does best, as I'm sure does everyone in the industry...with maybe one prominent exception. 😉

On the website it says that Beverly has a vacation week but it has nothing saying that she isn’t doing matinees. I know in the bodyguard as well as in Memphis she didn’t do matinees. Is she scheduled to do all of the shows except for when she’s on holiday?
Thanks,
ST

What a cast! I'm hoping to catch this one in Newcastle as I'm up there for a few days at the start of the run.

Wait, is the cast only 5 people, or is there an ensemble to be announced too?

Looking forward to the reports! I'm going to go either Wednesday or Thursday next week as I'm in the north for a wedding and staying up for a few days. shady23 would appreciate any info on whether back of stalls overhang likely to affect view of any elevated scenes.

Just an FYI for anyone hoping to go in Newcastle. They have just put the front row on sale for £20. Says restricted view due to a high stage but considerably cheaper than anything else other than the gallery (and remember your metro fare is included )
