There are so many actors who are no longer with us. There are some who wouldn't be able to play certain parts nowadays.
Anyway, the question: are there any actors/actresses you wish had been born later to play a part that had not yet been written?
I ask this because Glenn Close's voice, on Tuesday, reminded me of Eileen Brennan in some ways.
Who could play whom if time was not a problem?

I would have liked to have seen Georgia Brown as Norma.

If she still had her voice I'm sure she'd be up there on Broadway and the West End still, maybe even as Norma. Who knows! I was thinking that when I saw Sunset the other day. Yes, if only she still had her voice.

Not theatre related (well, maybe he would have done theatre if he hadn't died that early), but I'd have loved seeing Freddie Mercury / Queen live on stage.

Nice question!
I'd love to be able to bring back Gregory Hines in ANYTHING. Such a prodigious talent!
