1974, Guildford. Pub bombs in Guildford and Woolwich murdered seven people and shocked the nation – but why were the wrong menarrested? Forget Making a Murderer – this new play by journalist and playwright Martin McNamara uncovers the holes in our own judicialsystem through the story of Paul Hill and the Guildford Four, directed by Jamie Eastlake.
Was invited to this play last night to review it and was absolutely stunned. The play was so gripping from start to finish. Phenomenal acting as well. Will post my review here when I write it, I really recommend this show, it's worth the journey to Balham!

There was definitely more than 1 seat left when I went. I was surprised to see it reviewed in high profile publications like The Stage because it is an odd venue-there was a Spinal Tap moment just trying to find the stairs-but it is a wonderful play that if one of the smaller Southwark spaces would be getting a lot of attention.

The show's ending on may 5th, so hopefully they'll have a good run between now and then. |
