The drowsey chaperone totally underrated and bad marketing for the London production which was excellent as was the tiny upstairs at the gate house one with Ashley day and Siobhan McCarthy as the chaperone .... always thought it would tour well maybe sell a door ..... 😎👍

Just had another thought today Taboo really was before it’s Time loved it in all its forms ... wish I had seen the broadway production too .... maybe a new. Production merging the best of both .... can’t believe I saw a young luke evens all those years ago 😋. Fantastic cast all round. Please bring it back

Would Time be worth another shot, the technology would be much better now to make things work better.
I agree that Taboo would worth doing again as it is a good LGBT story and has some very well known songs in it.
Martin Guerre hasn't been done for a long time and had a decent original run in London so would that be looked at?

I think Time is of its er...time and also relied on names to keep it afloat.
Speaking of star driven musical, I wonder if anyone would be brave enough to revive Heathcliff?

Heathcliff was a glorified vanity project for Cliff Richard but it had a top team behind it and did good business as Cliff's fanbase were all over it. Would Cliff still hold the rights to this I wonder? A younger more brooding name star as Heathcliff could make it work on a smaller scale. |

There are three shows I would love to see revived:
- PARADE: I’ve never seen the show, but love the score, and would love to finally see it played out live.
- LOVE NEVER DIES: For me, one of Lloyd Webber’s most underrated musicals, with a score to die for. I would love to see this re-done, maybe with the Australian staging.
- STEPHEN WARD: I regret not seeing this when it first came out. It’s not my favourite Lloyd Webber score, but I would love to finally love to see it. Maybe this could be a project for the Other Palace?

Can we please have a revival of this musical. It's right on so many levels. When I hear of people saying that new productions expose all the flaws in the book etc. I think this is perfection.

Love Never Dies was uneven in London. I saw the first night. The score needs to be enhanced. I doubt ALW would want to work on this one. Stephen Ward is an unlikeable person and that is death in a musical. |

I’m sure I heard Children of Eden was having a revival but can’t remember where or when I heard it - it’s absolutely not something I’d make up though. I would pay $$$ for an Evita concert on Broadway with LuPone. |

I feel the same about Stephen Ward, I'm pretty sure someone said that it was being worked on at the Other Palace, but that must've been a year or two ago now. |

I think Stephen Ward could be reworked to put the focus more on Profumo and Keeler - as they are at the centre of the narrative. Ward - whilst interesting - is not a compelling central character and thus it was always going to be a difficult book choice to make work.

Assassins! I believe it was on at the Menier Chocolate Factory recently but I’d love to see it in the west end proper. I second Into the Woods, and Sweeney Todd. I’d also like to see a west end revival of the Rocky Horror Show, perhaps something different to the current touring production. Rocky Horror is on a big tour currently. I don't know if it will stop off in the West End during the run. The hardcore fans would come and see it in London over the weekend but would tourists "get it" I wonder. The show tours a lot so a bespoke West End production might have to wait a bit but with the right casting it could work and there is a fanbase ready to come in "Anticipation" |

I know it's not a revival as it's not been in London yet.....but I'm STILL waiting for a West End production of Next to Normal.

My dream revivals would have to be;
The Lord of the Rings - Even though it was a flop, I feel that it should get another chance and I'd love to get the opportunity to experience it live.
Oliver! - A proper West End revival, similar to the previous one that Cameron Mackintosh did 10 years back.
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang - This looks like a fun show and it's about time it got a revival.
Into the Woods - Like with Oliver!, a proper West End revival.
Les Miserables (Original) - I saw this last month before it closed and it was one of the most fantastic theatrical experiences I've ever had. It's a shame that it closed, but I feel that Mackintosh may bring it back in the future if the demand is big enough (maybe at the Barbican?). It is an iconic production after all.
Spamalot - I saw it when it was at the Playhouse and it was so much fun. But if it were to be revived, I'd love it to be a much bigger production, like the original West End one at the Palace.
