Seriously Seriously?? Rob deserves better. Jason Donovan would be ideal though! If he did Eugenius, he'd do this.

Must say I'm surprised this is transferring so quickly. It's only been open on Broadway for a couple of months and hasn't exactly established itself as a MUST SEE show.

Although 2021 is not too soon. Loved the film, not so sure about the musical but will probably give it a go when it comes.

Must say I'm surprised this is transferring so quickly. It's only been open on Broadway for a couple of months and hasn't exactly established itself as a MUST SEE show. David Ian is among the producers, so clearly he must have put money into this with the aim to bring it to London and other places. He's currently producing the South African tour of Chicago that's in Germany this summer (and is excellent, by the way) and the new tour of Bodyguard. Clearly it would be nice for him to bring a big new original musical to London and possibly on tour to other places. Another producer is the Japanese Toho Company, who, I'm sure, are already planning a Tokyo production as well. These bland mainstream movie adaptations just seem to be created for a big international market straightaway, no matter how well they do on Broadway, unlike stuff like, Hamilton or Come From Away, that started as small shows of regional interest and due to simply being great, started to travel the world. Same could be said for Pretty Woman and Anastasia - neither has set Broadway on fire, but Stage Entertainment always co-produced with the aim to bring them to continental Europe.
