Sadly they were out of whole-arsed notebooks Please explain, or should I not ask?

I'm interested in seeing this but the Monday tickets are far too expensive let alone any other days of the week. Is there anywhere to get cheaper tickets or rush available. Have seen there is standing but would rather sit down.

Sadly they were out of whole-arsed notebooks Please explain, or should I not ask? There’s a joke where someone says “… doing it half assed” and someone responds saying “no, this is whole arsed”, so they’ve just named a bit of merch after the joke.

Have seen there is standing but would rather sit down. You won’t see many, or any other shows in the west end where the top price ticket is £39.50. I know everyone’s view and affordability with pricing is relative to them but this is incredibly cheap, not far too expensive at all.

You also won't see many other west end show where the *bottom* price ticket is £40, though. That's the problem. It might, in that respect, be the most expensive show in the west end. I almost never pay more than £25 a ticket, which puts this show out of my price range immediately.

Quite. I try to pay around £25-30 for West End shows when possible (I do pay more at other venues such as the ROH). I paid the £40 to see Operation Mincemeat a couple of weeks ago but I don't really want to pay that much repeatedly, though I did enjoy the show & want to see it again. As it is I can't fit in any Monday or Tuesday visits for the next few weeks & I'm certainly not prepared to pay £60 or £80 to see it on other days of the week.
A query for those who have won the lottery. It says it's for a pair of tickets but if you win are you allowed to buy only a single ticket? There's no point in me entering if you have to buy 2 tickets when I only want 1. I doubt I'll win anyway, given there's an anagram & I've never been able to do anagrams.

I won the lottery and was able to book 1 ticket. Unfortunately there was no way to pay with theatre tokens so I ended up not buying it. I called ATG box office, they told me to contact theatre directly, then the theatre directs you to ATG. 😞

I haven't won the lottery so can't speak to that, but just regarding the anagram I believe you only have to do it the once. Once you've signed up you automatically get entered into the next lottery, you don't have to manually enter every time. The answer to the anagram is subterfuge fyi (I assume that's okay to just say outright, right?).

Thanks jr . I'd just be paying normally so wouldn't have that issue.
ETA2: I've tried entering but the confirmation email says "You’ll find out if you’re a winner on 2 May by 2pm." which can't be right!

Does anyone know if this is likely to tour? It sounds amazing but don't know if I'll get chance to see it in London before the run ends!

Saw having put off seeing this after so many years and I thought it was 4 star worthy
But to anyone balking at the £80 prices, if you’ve seen shows like the 39 steps or anything by Le Navet Bete recently, I say keep trying the lottery. This is not worth £80
It’s your usual small cast double role-ing, comedic retelling of xxx subject matter. With the usual wall breaking, musical references and using different song styles like rapping to set apart each song
Not that there weren’t some clever bits in this. The tangled phone wire scene was the highlight for me and there the occasional laugh out loud moment. And Jak Malone as Hester singing the love letter song was touching as intended. Got a longer applause than others
But haven’t we moved on from the buck-tooth, hunched, introverted nerd stereotype? I rolled my eyes at that
But generally the cast were great. Including holly sumpton who was on at Montagu
Very good show. But I’m glad I didn’t pay full price to see this

Was a little bit disheartened to see we were getting an understudy for Monty yesterday, but I needn't have been. Holly was brilliant. Loved this even more than in Hammersmith last year.
New glitzy costumes, and a proper glitzy finale!

Outstays its welcome at 2.5 hours running time. Could easily loose 10 minutes + from each half (Rob Hastie - where are you??)Decent enough. Strained to hear many of the Hamiltonesque rap lyrics. Some very broad over-playing from one or two of the cast. But that said, congrats to them for making it to the West End.

I'm selling a ticket for tomorrow night at half price, if anyone's interested (the post is in the notice board section, but maybe not everyone checks it frequently and since the show is tomorrow I thought I should say it here as well... hope it's alright).
Face value is 59.50, selling it at 30. Row D stalls
I loved the show but now I regret buying it because I'm not sure I can afford it, it would be my 4th time 😂 (I saw it twice at the Riverside studios and once a few weeks ago after the transfer)

I saw this on the Tuesday Matinee having last seen it at Southwark Playhouse. It has translated really well with a great set. Interestingly the opening conversation gambit by the person manning one of the merch stands was "How many times have you seen it?" Which confirms it as a cult hit. I just hope it can go mainstream.

Question for anyone who’s seen the show since officially opening:
The grid lighting on the back wall, is this still ONLY used in the second half?
I saw the show twice in Previews (now seen it 5 times in total) and found it really strange that it wasn’t used at all in the first half. I get the logic of “saving it” for the element of surprise but that logic doesn’t work for me when you see it used in subtle ways throughout the 2nd half, ultimately it’s a visual language. E.g a simple vertical line to divide the space showing 2 locations on a phone call.
I assumed that since it was in Previews that the first half’s lighting hadn’t been finished?
Can anyone confirm how it’s used now / if it’s used throughout the show now or just the 2nd half?

Thanks again to those who gave me advice on the lottery. I've just won it at my first attempt. I was leaving a 10th June Saturday matinee slot vacant in the hope of winning so that's worked out nicely. As the first few rows of the stalls weren't available for lottery tickets, and as I saw how near the circle is at the Fortune, I decided to go for the front row of the circle & see what the show looks like from that angle.

So I've now also won but I can only see the expensive seats and no code or anything to enter onto the email - please help me! Am I missing something?
