Am I the only one who thinks maybe the September run may also be rescheduled. I'm quite pessimistic as I have had my booking transferred to a new date and although it has been confirmed I am still to be given any details of the actual seat allocation.

That's what I'm expecting.

I feel like it will end up being the original dates but 2021 like a lot of shows ENO need this show to be the first one to open the Coliseum as they need the revenue from the theatre hire to pay for their own season. Also there is already a show lined up for next summer.

Ball did a slip up on the One Show last week... A viewer emailed in and they were meant to be seeing HS. ‘SEE YOU NEXT YEAR.’ Happened so quickly but funny how a week later this happens. I had a feeling this would be the case. Just wish the producers followed Sister Act and postponed to next summer from the very start!!!

What a joy to see this performance. This is going to go down very well when the theatres reopen - just the feel good show we need.

That was fabulous. I really miss a fun high energy show picking me up after a bad week.

Mrs Ball back in drag. He was born to play that part. Resl feel good performance by the cast. Just a reminder of what we are so missing.

Never thought I’d shed a tear to bleedin’ ‘Hairspray’. Do we think the same glow up will flow through to the Coliseum or was just for BGT?

Realistically for this to go ahead they’d have to start rehearsals in about four months. Is this likely to be permitted? And moreover will they be able to play to a non-socially distanced house? The clock is ticking...

Just the show we need. Upbeat, great music, the original production and it's relevant even nowadays with its storyline and themes. I really hope this goes ahead.

The clock is ticking... The world could be a very different place in four months. Your level of pessimism is helping precisely no-one.

I'm fed up with the depressing tone and lack of optimism on this board. There is no point in even asking the question as four months is an eternity in the present circumstances where everything is changing by the day. Life is depressing enough as it is, can't we just hope for the best rather than focusing on the worst case scenario?
