Okay, I feel stingy with the lack of detail in the opening post now.
Limited run, 20th August to 14th September, starring Phoebe Waller-Bridge, tickets on sale at 3pm today (I think), and yes, this is the original one-woman play that the TV show was based on.

Its great, but I already saw it twice at the soho theatre, so will give it a miss

Never thought I'd get to see the play so going for this. Prepared for eye watering ticket costs considering it's only an hour but it doesn;t matter.

Tickets from £20 - presumably for balcony sides - with premium starting at £127.50. That's a lot of money for one woman and a stool. That said - it is brilliant and she is brilliant but I'm glad that I saw it in Edinburgh and at Soho.

Managed to get tickets in the balcony. I was prepared to pay £30 for that, was not prepared to pay just shy of £70 for the stalls for a one hour play.

I’m out, one to have seen before the TV Series was transmitted as cannot see how it can compare especially when factoring West End prices, may consider a day seat lottery if the price is right and leave it to the Theatre Gods.

Would you mind posting the pricing breakdown of the different areas? This is from the Soho Theatre website, the Delfont one may be slightly different Band A. £67.50 Band B £47.50 Band C £27.50 Premium £127.50 Band A encompasses the stalls and circle, I'm pretty sure Band B encompasses everything else bar the Balcony, which is Band C. Didn't have the Premium on presale but my guess would be front two rows. But frankly anybody who can afford to spend that much on a one hour show must have more money than sense!

Got myself a ticket for the grand circle for the 13th September. Was in a queue for 45 minutes. Excited to see PWB on stage!

Really wanted to get a ticket, but the Delfont site crashed for me at 3 and then I was busy at work so looks like unless there’s dayseats or rush, I’ll be missing out

Was trying on the Soho site but finally got out of the wait list for it to be completely sold out. So disappointing

I suppose the theatregoing moral of this story is always try and see something/somebody before it/they become popular/famous!

I suppose the theatregoing moral of this story is always try and see something/somebody before it/they become popular/famous! I tell myself this when I've seen something so so, maybe one day someone in it will be revered and I'll have seen them. Never actually happened obviously.

I love Phoebe Waller Bridge to the moon and back but I do think to expect anybody to pay £125 for an hour is genuinely tantamount to theft.
