Five rooms, five lives.
Beautifully detailed rooms give you an insight into the life of 5 people, a reflection of their relationship to the room whilst you move around and interact with the space.
Being in a small group allowed you to build a relationship with your fellow room members and an opportunity to reflect on what we experienced.
Our lives are spent in rooms of which we take little notice, whilst each is as detailed as any stage set and each one a space where we realised our lives, came away thinking about the milestones of my life and the rooms in which they took place, the rooms ephemeral, the memories locked, the rooms now the canvas of other people’s lives.
Could be considered five short radio plays but experiencing them in their space makes them infinitely more powerful.

I was sad, I had to return my ticket for this. Barbican were very accommodating though.
Glad you liked it.
