Matinee today, bits of it work but it's all a bit unsatisfying.
Eccleston had his moments but very inconsistent. Liked Cusack.
Not enough onstage murder and far too many cues and motifs lazily lifted from Kubrick's Shining.
Mark E Smith was excellent as the porter though
