Can't work out how a "Half Price child" ticket is £46 when full price is £69 - that's definitely not half price! Anyway got my £20 seat for the first performance Where can I get a ticket right now ? I can only see presale and sale both starting at different times tomorrow

It was my first West End show (under my own steam, anyway) way back in 1981! Booked for a trip down memory lane

She looks more like Millie Dillmount than the drunken, child-hating Miss Hannigan. Hope it's not a guide to the performance!

I'm throughly looking forward to this now that it's official! I've only ever seen it on Tour, last year and about 10 years ago. I also have a dodgy video of it from Broadway.
It's by no means a favourite show but it's a reminiscing thing for me, I adored the movie as a child too. I also love Miranda and I said previously, shes 6ft1 and with heels on she will be at least 6ft4 or 5. That will be hilarious to see her towering over the 4ft little girls.
I'll be booking during the general sale tomorrow, hopefully I'll get a ticket for the first date.

I will book largely for Miranda Hart. Not keen on the show but partner and daughter both love Annie so a nice family theatre trip is a good plan

I have a feeling she will be terrible in this. She isn't a good actress and can only really play herself. I do hope she proves me wrong though, and it's nice to have this show back in London- I hope the replacement for her is decent. I think Sarah Lancashire would be sensational, not that she'd do it though of course,

I think Sarah Lancashire would be sensational, not that she'd do it though of course, Sarah would be amazing but I too doubt she'd do it. The last musical she did was Betty Blue Eyes and since then her profile has gone up due to her in dramas like Happy Valley and winning lots of awards so I doubt she'd play Miss Hannigan anytime soon, although it would be great.

I've booked. I've never seen a professional production of Annie before so it seems the right time to do so. Very back row of the top level but checked it out on Theatre Monkey and Seatplan and am happy with it. Still not sure about the casting but I'll find out!

It has sold amazingly fast, I noticed just now. Family show with quite a well known celebrity in the main role. Lots of families will be there - it sold well on tour too

It has sold amazingly fast, I noticed just now. My back row was out of choice, didn't want to spend a lot of money on it. Was a bit surprised to be in a queue to book though, but still - like another show - I'll be in the room where it happens

This should probably be in the 'unpopular opinions' thread but *whispers* I don't 'Get' Miranda. I really wanted to like her/the show but just couldn't find it funny...I'm sure she's a lovely lady though...

Booked for 9th June, was going to go for the £20 Grand Circle, even got to the last point before purchasing, then decided "STUFF IT, I'll treat myself" so I went for Row B in the Stalls instead.

The queue, albeit only a few seconds, was there at 1am this morning too... I suspect precautionary rather than strictly necessary, certainly at non-peak booking times.

Annie is a musical I can take or leave, but I do like Miranda Hart (her show gave me hours of enjoyment) so I got myself a £20 "back of the house" seat for her penultimate matinee in September.

Any other word on casting yet? It is just under two months until the first performance. I don't expect any more stars as they would of announced that by now, get some more tickets shifted, but I wonder if some of the tour cast will come on board, particularly members of the ensemble!

In terms of the adults I heard Haley Flaherty (Miss Honey in Matilda for 3 years) may be Grace, but I have no proof of that lol just something I heard off others.
