In central third row Stalls through Rush this afternoon, despite the TodayTix app being exceptionally slow to confirm tickets. First attempt stalled for about two minutes then offered a horrible seat, thankfully the second attempt was much better. The little girl in front of me has spent most of the first half asleep, so I’ve had a clear view.
Of more interest, there’s a little boy in the row behind called Sven. I’m not quite brave enough to ask the parents…

As an alternative to Rush I've booked good seats for Frozen (Saturday 7pm performance) two weeks running @ £29.50 via Disney Magical Monday. Daughter and boyfriend went last weekend - central stalls row J - and we're going this coming Saturday in stalls row C.
The promotion starts at noon every Monday but both times I booked after 1pm. I'm sure more - and better - seats were added after the initial allocation.

Is there a 'better' place to sit as such for this production? I'm aware that the pillars are slightly obstructing to the sides. Is the 'stage magic' ruined if you sit closer in the stalls compared to the circle?

Had never gotten around to seeing this, so got a Rush for the matinee. Hoping to be pleasantly surprised.

Had never gotten around to seeing this, so got a Rush for the matinee. Hoping to be pleasantly surprised. It’s my guilty pleasure. A spectacular fairy tale which, as long as you get lucky with your neighbours, is an absolute joy. The sets in particular are absolutely ravishing, and the central performances are great atm too. Enjoy.

I'm going to the Pride show later in the month. I am guessing less children but the gays will probably be worse behaved than the kids. I think its going to be a fun night.

Prosecco seems to inhibit the ability to look after ones own children.

I saw that and was considering going, but I didn't really wanna have to deal with other people possibly scream-singing Frozen songs and getting very drunk, and the train ride out. I'm a very reclusive gay I suppose.
Also, Happy Pride Month everyone.

I overestimated my patience, and underestimated the poor standards of parenting.
At one point a boy stuck his feet up on his seat and his trainers grazed my face.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again; the only way to watch this show is from the two person boxes!

The pride performance still has a lot of tix left.
I booked to see it with a group of friends on that pride performance day on a whim. I hope no one will mind a large group of gay uni students...
I wonder what they mean by "surprises."

Maybe the video above could be a clue.

I wonder what they mean by "surprises." I assume a big chunk of the audience will be gay uni students. It is a shame it isn't selling better, though I can see they have opened the balcony now so maybe hoping it will pick up. I have looked ahead to compare prices and can see for many matinees the stalls are mainly £200 and £250. Those seem crazy prices for a family show

Maybe the video above could be a clue. I mean, if this was in the pride performance... bless If the cast have already re-worked a song from the show, is it a stretch to imagine they would perform it again? No blessing required…

A lovely night of theatre with friends celebrating Pride! This was actually my second time seeing this and I have no idea why they're closing this and replacing it with Hercules.

What were the Pride changes? Did they lose the fig leaves?

What were the Pride changes? Did they lose the fig leaves? Haha it was a little bit more leaning into the suggestive jokes with less kids in the audience and at the end they all came out in pride flag attire and colours. Ensemble were carrying a flag saying "Protect Trans Youth With Your Vote." Sammy Barks said Happy Pride and they had the Let It Go encore. I'll happily add more details about the curtain call when I get the video my friend took. EDIT: Interestingly, tonight was being filmed. My theory is that they were filming audience cheers and reactions for the proshot, because God it was maybe the loudest ovation I've ever heard. When you have lots of gays in the room... The end of Let It Go was mostly joyous screaming. Samantha hit a glorious opt-up that unfortunately was drowned out a bit. Honestly, it was probably the Let It Go they'd use in a proshot because there was such a tangible electric energy in the air when she walked on stage and the first piano notes played. Big gasps. Oh, and we all got free signed posters.

I was there tonight as well. Last time I had nosebleed seats, very back of the back. This time much better ones in the Royal Circle.
We had hope for a Pride themed Hygge, alas not to be. I was a bit confused by Hygge, has it been cut or changed at some point? My memory of it from the first time was very different, but maybe I was just so far away I couldn't properly see it?
Brilliant audience tonight, I was a bit sad the end of Let It Go got drowned out, but the atmosphere was amazing. What a noise! My favourite bit of the Pride theme was Olaf's rainbow nose.

What a special night. The show wasn't really altered apart from maybe some emphasis on lines and jokes. The audience were up for it all. Great bows with pride accessories on the cast and a little encore with a Les mis style flag waver at the back! I love the free posters we got and a sticker was the only excuse I needed to buy the brochure x.com/fiyero/status/1806821069757788361?t=d_9zrKnBlYWnIMOxymWP1Q&s=19Edit: does posting a tweet link not embed it anymore? I thought I had this down

Well that was a glorious camp night out. Packed theatre, lots of gorgeous drag Queens and a few kids who were very wel behaved. A little bit more innuendo than normal and the loudest audience I've heard at Frozen (this is my 5th visit). The ovation at the end of Let It Go was deafening and even Sam Barks said at the end it was the best audience ever. As mentioned above lots of cast at the bows with flags and even Olaf had a rainbow nose. The signed poster on out seats was a lovely bonus. Oh and they us all sing Let It Go as an encore.

Oh dear, the anti trans lot on X seem to have latched on to the 'protect trans youth with your vote' banner. I won't quote them but it does remind me why I hate the internet.
