Does anyone know where the seats are for the 'Magical Mondays' ? Or is it random depending on availability ? Random depending on availabilty as far as I can tell from what I've been offered before.
I've had back corners of the Royal Circle, the extra legroom seats on row M of the stalls where the wheelchair positions are, the stalls slips, and centre stalls row L&M. So it can really vary.

Thanks! I'm not too bothered what seats I get to be honest, as long as I manage to get them. Although, extra legroom on Row M does sound good I'm going to try for Wednesday at 2pm, have you always managed to get them when you've tried ?

But don't forget if they seem to have all gone at 12, go back onto it slightly later and the seats may have released back if people haven't purchased them.

We got slap bang centre of stalls row H last Sunday, and I’ve had row L before then; both perfect views.

We got slap bang centre of stalls row H last Sunday, and I’ve had row L before then; both perfect views. I ended up getting seats in the Royal Circle Row E! They were at the side but still an excellent view. On another note, Jenna Lee-James was on as Elsa which was her debut and she was spectacular. I couldn't fault her in any way to be honest. She looked a lot like Samantha with all the Elsa get up on and if I'd been sitting on a higher level, with my crap eyesight, I wouldn't have questioned you if you'd told me it was Samantha on the stage. Also, it's hard to believe she's 48 years old, she doesn't look a day over 25. evilmat360

So it was Samantha's last show pre-maternity leave last night! Her Let it Go was, as usual, something to behold. I did wonder if there might be any speeches or anything at the bows, but there wasn't. Really hope she'll be back, but given all the rumours here I'm a bit worried it will close before she can!

Every time this thread gets bumped, I hope it is announcing the closure of this awful show. Extended once more... aarrggghh. Such a waste of a wonderful theatre.

I think you’ll find most people love this show and are pleased it’s extending again. It’s one of the best shows in the West End and absolutely belongs in the Drury Lane.

Each to their own but I love this show, curious as to what's so bad about it? For me the whole experience. From the 'talkative' audience to the spoilt brats dressed up in Disney costumes, to the padding of the songs (not the seats, they were fine), to the dated effects, to the emotional vacuum of the whole piece. Personally, I can't stand it, and I don't wish to spoil anybody else's enjoyment of this show as it clearly means a lot to many people, so I'll keep my criticism to that... but then I liked Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Lord of the Rings, so perhaps I'm not the best judge of what is right for this theatre...

Oh I think this absolutely fine for what it is - great introduction to West End theatre for a lot of people.
It's big, loud, bright and colourful, with good music (some of the new songs aren't great but mostly they fair alright) and it doesnt overstay it's welcome at 2hrs 15 all in.
Would much rather this hung around than some of the other crap we have in London at the moment 😂

I wonder if LW Theatres hasn't got a show in place to replace Frozen just yet.

I wonder if LW Theatres hasn't got a show in place to replace Frozen just yet. Considering the backlog of shows trying to get venues in the West End at the moment I don't know how likely this is - but it's true you'd need one of a particular size (or with a particular star) to even contemplate going into TRDL

I'm sure they could find a way to reduce the capacity somewhat.

I imagine the stalls is flexible, but I can't imagine there's a lot you can do to the balconies or circles.

The January closing "rumours" were wrong then!
Not a life changing show for me but did think it was excellent and would happily go again.
Agree with others that finding another appropriate tenant for Drury Lane may be problematic - it's a whopping venue to fill (no desire to see the third incarnation of Palladium Oliver there and assume this time that will go DMT anyway).
Can London sustain two London Palladium style venues with TRDL also doing one off concerts and a Winter and Summer musical? No idea! But do struggle to think of a new/revival musical that could do an open ended run there.
On a semi related topic - does anyone know if Jenna Lee James does all shows/has any holidays? Incredible MT voice with a rocky edge (and easily the 2nd best Narrator of all time after Linzi IMHO) - would love to see her!

Drury Lane tends to be more successful with big shows so it's unlikely that they'll go the Palladium route which made sense for them as it was always a variety theatre.

Went to see the show again last night and had a blast. I forgot to check out the cast list before taking my seat, so checked the West End understudies twitter to see if there was anything there. After hastily looking I thought I would be seeing Char Burnett again, but to my surprise a mystery Anna took the stage (Rebecca Botterill)! She seemed to be having a lot of fun and may perhaps be the closest to movie-Anna I've seen yet, characterization wise. Really glad I got to see her! First time seeing Jenna Lee as Elsa too and thought she did a great job as well. Not sure what was in the air last night, but everyone seemed extra fired up and excited, truly a vibrant show from everyone. I was especially impressed with Djavan last night, he had to genuinely smile and laugh a few times, seemed to be having the best time, and his "What Do You Know About Love"-reprise was a highlight. Really excited for cast change in 2 weeks but I'll definitely miss the ones who will be leaving! On a semi related topic - does anyone know if Jenna Lee James does all shows/has any holidays? Laura Emmitt is on as Elsa on wednesday evenings, also 2 friday nights in september, just looked and seems to be the 15th and 29th!

The new cast starts on the 27th. Very curious about what Laura Dawkes will be like as Anna as it's her stage debut!

Samantha Barks is back as Elsa from 7th Feb! This is a lot sooner than I thought (I thought maternity leave was around a year?!) but I'm not complaining, it will be great to have her back.

Laura Dawkes makes a sweet Anna; she sings & acts it well. Similarly, whilst nothing wrong with Jenna’s Elsa, she just suffered from not being Samantha. Plus there respective ages just looked too far apart to believe that they would ever have played together.
