She is probably in that category as 42nd Street themselves think of her as the supporting actress. No name on any publicity, not last in the bows etc.

No name on any publicity, not last in the bows etc. But when they posted a graphic on Twitter advertising their eligibility for the WoS Awards, didn’t they include Clare in the lead category with Sheena and advertise Jasna as supporting? |

To be fair- the whatsonstage awards are a joke anyway.. best poster-cats? I mean please.
The most famous people win. If Kerry Katona played Hedda Gabler at the Arts, she’d win best actress.

And Clare bumped down to Supporting! I get that, to some, it is Supporting, but its not really, come on now. Peggy is generally seen as a supporting role though. Both times at the Tonys, the actress playing Peggy has been nominated as Featured Actress with Dorothy nominated as Lead. Clare should be grateful for a nomination, Sheena was robbed! |

Countless studio recording of albums have recorded tap tracks... Newsies + Charlie & the Chocolate Factory (ldn) are the first to spring to mind. |
