Whatever your biased opinion is about the show, it still wont make it into the new year.

I thought you liked straight talking. But I'll bear in mind for the future and try not to offend you again. So, as you're not going to answer the question about seeing BILB being a flop from miles off, what was it about 42st that convinced you it was a hit and got you to invest? Not just the frocks, surely?

I don't read all the threads, but this is the first time I have ever seen @parsley say something personal to a board member. He has controversial views on theatre, granted. But a bully? Hardly.

Parsley will be pleased. I've just done something I never do (no, not that, Ryan).
I've just booked to see the same show within the space of a few months. I even wait at least a year before returning to see the mighty Les Miserables.
Last time I was sat in A23, and next time I'll be in A1, so it will be nice to see all that wonderful tapping from a different angle.
How many times do I have to go before I officially qualify as a fangirl?

I seem to be there about once a month... those £15 seats are hard to resist and so much cheaper than therapy.

How many times do I have to go before I officially qualify as a fangirl? I've been three times and found A23 better than A1 because from A1 in Act I there was some obstruction of things happening around the piano and people downstage occasionally obscured people further upstage, but from A23 everything happening on stage could be clearly seen. Of course it sounded sensationally good from both seats and I will be there again next month in A23. For £15 those seats are the best value I have ever had in my entire theatre-going career starting back in 1947!

I think to truly be a fangirl, one must wait at stage doors, tell performers to follow them on twitter, and take hundreds of selfies with said performers. pdc1 - I think you are safe for now! But you go because you enjoy it...if theater was everyone's drug of choice, the world would be a better place :-)

Thanks for the welcome. I am still not sure how best to find my way around the site but I will persevere!

But you go because you enjoy it...if theater was everyone's drug of choice, the world would be a better place :-) I've only waited outside a stage door three times in my long life, life's too short to be bothering with Twitter, and I genuinely have never taken a selfie, so, yes, I think I am safe for now. And brilliant closing sentiment. Wish I'd thought of it!!

Welcome to the board tonyloco , glad you finally made it on here. Would say A1 has more room than 23, though, LOL. That's the main reason I thought I'd give it a go. I've found this excellent website that gives recommendations on which seats to look out for. Wish I could remember the domain name. Something to do with animals, I think.

I've sat in A1, I'm 6ft 1 and had no problems whatsoever- it's A0 that is the troublesome one. The poor bloke next to me had to change seats as he physically couldn't fit.

Being seriously over-weight is also a major disadvantage for sitting in some, in fact rather a lot, of seats in West End Theatres!

I'm 6ft 1 and had no problems whatsoever The small corollary being that if you are older and creakier, you tend to be less comfortable in cramped seats as the old joints tell you all about it throughout. I find I can't sit in some seats that I used to, because of that, LOL. You will always be a *whatever baby monkeys are called* for us

I am also 5ft2 and have sat in A1. I can confirm that it is an excellent seat for us shorter people as there is nobody in front of you.

Would 5'4" be pushing it?

Would 5'4" be pushing it? Although I only join the 5ft 2" club when I cheat, I'd say 5ft 4 would be fine. Just no stretching your legs out. I've also sat in the £75 front row seats and there's not really much difference in the view. The only problem we had on the end (A0 and A1) was a large group of idiots (actually, blame the ushers) who decided to come past just before the show started, rather than go down the central aisle to their seats in the middle of the front row. That was a squeeze, especially as the first one did the "No, don't stand up" bum-in-face thing...and proceeded to clomp his filthy size 10s all over my handbag.

Has anyone heard if there are plans to record the show for CD release?

I'm 5ft 5 and sat in A1 in great comfort, and A0 where I had to stretch a little into the A1 legroom (but it was my pal and I'd bought the tickets, so I could).

Would I be right in thinking A0 is a later, crafty addition to the seat plan when they realised they could squeeze in an extra seat albeit suitable for people of shorter stature only?
