Please stop playing the victim. I’m really very sorry if your enjoyment of a possible announcement has been spoilt by someone commenting on someone else's post about casting. Best to keep your eyes shut if you ever find yourself on the tube due them sometimes using their casts to advertise a show. Also don’t buy a programme until after you’ve been. They tend to be full of casting spoilers 🤪😳🙃

Leaked casting on a theatre gossip site is ahead of any official wider release. That said, I don't get the issue at all. Leaked castings have been on theatre gossip boards for as long as they've existed. Why drama is being created over Mean Girls I don't know. |

People are allowed to express an opinion about casting reveals and people are allowed to express their opposing opinions.
Why some people insist on making it personal is a mystery.
People gloating over conflict.. no comment.

Casting "leaks" on message boards are not guaranteed. Some rumours prove to be true. Some don't!
I don't think there's a problem with 30-year-olds playing teens necessarily. Theatre is a forgiving medium when it comes to age and casting someone against their actual age has been going on so long it's as much of a tradition as ice cream at the interval.

Well I'm getting old as the only name listed who I have heard of is Tom Xander. Guess it's because it needs a young cast so I'm presume these names are Six or Heather's actors? Charlie Burn was Cosette in Les Mis and most recently a lead vocalist in the Disney 100 concert. Georgina Castle was Jovie in Elf and one of the step sisters in ALW Cinderella. She has a good voice however I wish we could move on from 30 year olds playing 16 year olds. Grace was the original Six swing and has been in & Juliet, Legally Blonde and currently in White Christmas in Sheffield. Elena Gyasi was an alternate in Six. Ellie Skye was Eponine in Les Mis and Scaramouche in We Will Rock You. ACTUALLY Elena was Parr in the six uk tour, not an alternate. Fact check babe. |

I might be on my own here but I'm really hoping for some unknown names. I understand the attraction of using more popular actors, especially when trying to sell a show commercially, but I think with a show like this with a lot of buzz and great ticket sales already, they don't need to do it. I'm a huge fan of a lot of the casts of Six and Heathers, but I hope they don't just choose people who have the followings from them. The cast list on this thread sounds quite nice. A lot of names I don't recognise, with a couple I do. It's just nice to see lots of different talent. Lord knows there's plenty of it in the UK!  |

I haven't seen anything, who is the tiktoker? His name is Tommy Wade-Smith. He keeps popping up and I check out the comments whenever he’s teasing about a new job, and people are all shouting Mean Girls. In particular, another actor, Dan Buckley, seems to be hinting it’s mean girls. Just curious if anyone knew of anyone else. I’m well excited for the announcement! Saw it once in DC and once on Broadway and it’s a total guilty pleasure! |

Shanay Holmes introduced Georgina Castle at West End Musical Love Songs by saying that her new job will take the world by storm, which basically confirms she's in Mean Girls. I did think her voice is a bit too nasal for my liking, but so is Taylor Louderman's.
