Is that the best pic they could find? She looks awkward. Is it just me? Baz is famously great at picking the worst random photos for his news, let's be real! 😂

Stalls at Shaftesbury Theatre £75 and front two rows not on sale.
Palace Theatre Manchester front row stalls seat just booked for the first weekday matinee @ £30.That's a senior price with my ATG Theatre Card but full price for front three rows is only £40.
I live in Kent so would prefer London but I can see it first and cheaper in Manchester even with travel costs.
I saw Bat Out of Hell in Manchester from the front row for about 30% of the initial price at the London Coliseum. I expect London shows to cost more - most things do - but that's too big a difference.

Was debating seeing this and with that casting I’ve just booked. Booked for Manchester, although London is closer and a lot easier to get to/from the ticket prices mean it makes far more sense to travel the extra hour or so on the train and see it in Manchester. £25 stalls ticket for the first Saturday Matinee seemed like too good a deal to pass up.

Booked second preview premium stalls in Manc for £25.
Don’t worry, we’ll do our best to make sure this is fit for purpose before it gets to the West End just like we did with Ghost, Bat, The Gir..... oops *scratched record noise*.... Ghost and Bat 😌

So according to the official twitter, looks like cast also includes current SiX swing Grace Mouat and Kirstie Skivington from Jamie? Also will admit to being excited about Alex Tranter, who was amazing in the Eugenius ensamble!

Lots of recognisable faces. I'm thinking of going to Manchester for this. Never been, for my sins.

Palace Theatre Manchester front row stalls seat just booked for the first weekday matinee @ £30. You might struggle to see the show at the Opera House from there.

Well it was 1am when I booked it and posted and I have just finished a run of seeing 9 musicals in 6 days. Not quite the best 6 days of my life (I've got kids) but pretty damn close...

So Shakespeare and his wife are also in Juliet's story.... okay.... Right now, Club Tropicana with Joe McEldery has about 100 times more name recognition than this does!
I can't wait for this!

Two songs from the show in full.
Oliver Tompsett sings "Larger than Life"
Miriam-Teak Lee sings "Hit Me Baby One More Time".

I was so here for this, it has all the makings of a camp classic - but with the (admittedly good legit) MT casting and the rediculous pricing... it's gonna die a death isn't it?
Also - the songs released are just way too similar to the originals for my liking, just having an MT singer leading them doesn't automatically make them musical theatre? I can no idea how either of these songs will propel any action forward, or convey any kind of narrative?

As Manchester is that much cheaper I might just go and do a matinee up there then! Great cast, this better be good!

Arun Blair-Mangat was an amazing angel in Kinky Boots (and an amazing Lola). I saw him recently in "Leave to Remain" and even there he is very good.
