Reckon Duncan James will actually be great in this. Really liked him in Priscilla and he’s as camp as Christmas. But has he got the nasty edge?

Ooh I’m glad this has been announced and my detective skills were correct! I think Ben has a lovely voice and will be great in this role. Agree also that Duncan was a pleasant surprise in Priscilla and think he will put his all in to the role. Interested to see who will take the part of the narrator.

I was going to suggest having Boris Johnson as the narrator as he isn’t doing very much, but seeing him in suspenders probably isn’t something you would really want to see. I just hope it’s someone who the audience can have some banter with as that’s all part of the fun of the show.

Speak for yourself - the sight of a pasty, middle aged saggy right wing politician in a sexually provocative outfit is big money to... someone? Probably.

Duncan James seems to be quietly carving out a good stage career for himself and if he can pull off Frank ( no pun intended honky tonk|) could be very good as the role. I think Joanne will be fun as Janet too. Hopefully they get someone good as the Narrator.

For anyone booking especially for Ben & Joanne (or for those who may want to avoid seeing them) they are only appearing until the 25th May. There will be a new Brad & Janet after Birmingham (The June - November dates)

My pathological & completely irrational dislike of duncanfromblue actually loosened a bit when I saw this news. I think he’d be a great Frank. (and things went a bit further than pulling. They ruined a perfectly good Matalan fitted sheet!).

I bet it’s just Phillip sodding Franks again in Bristol. Why can’t we have Liz McDonald?

I don’t know how reliable “MTAS Official” are, but they’re reporting that the narrators for the tour will be: Alison Hammond Dom Joly Beverly Callard (as BurlyBeaR has already said) Steve Punt Philip Franks
I’ve seen the last two in the role before and really enjoyed their take on the role. Not sure about the others, but at least it’s new fodder for the partici...pation nuts!

I think Don Jolly will be good! Not too keen on Alison Hammond, too shouty and over the top for me!

“Desperately underwhelming tour gets worse each time!” - they should put this on the posters.

Alison will be an interesting one but as it is her home town no doubt there will be some local references. I don't know what she is like as an Ad-Libber with the hardcore Weekend Rocky Horror crowd.

The Palace and Opera House posted on their Facebook page Bev Callard in a video saying “I’m going to be the narrator, I’m terrified, please be gentle with me Manchester” etc etc.
If that was supposed to be a promo for the show they may want to reconsider. If you don’t think you’re up to the role Beverley, neither do we.

The Elaine Paige radio show played Damn It Janet yesterday sung by Ben Adams and Joanne Clifton. I think it was on at approx 2.20pm if anyone wants to listen online.
