This is a new theatre to me, right by Earlsfield station. There's a small lobby and a multi-purpose room, with about six rows of tiered seats (and an extra row at each side). I don't know if there's a backstage changing room, but part of the back of the room is curtained off (also used as part of the simple set) and I presume the actors wait behind there.
I was sat at the back and the seat rake isn't great, but you do get a good view of the big effect at the end.
This is a five person production, runs about 2 hours 20 minutes (and that was with the interval only being 10 minutes). It starts slow, but builds with suspense and plot twists.
The premise is a mix of all the popular media themes about five years ago. Immigration, radicalisation, the EU and the role of the media. To say much more would be to rather give away the plot, but I think this should come with trigger warnings.
I know this one has been touring fringe venues for a few years now, so many will have seen it, but it's on for a few more days at the Tara.
