They sounded nice individually, but I didn't really like those two songs being cut together. Two people standing belting at each other isn't really my favourite flavour of song anyway. I liked the 'half-dressed' version of One Day More, although the two-seconds long clip of the actual version (at about 2.26) is a bit weird. I'd have either made it more obvious that I was showing it, or not put it in at all. It's nice to see it though — it makes it coming back seem more real.

I rather enjoyed it and it Brought a tear to my eyes. Me too. Can’t imagine what I’ll be like when. I’m back in a local theatre Thursday and London Saturday!

So pleased I managed to snag a ticket for Thursday! It came up as e-ticket when I booked, but the confirmation email says print at home. I don't have a printer, I presume they can read the barcode off my phone?

I liked the One Show performance, nice to hear those two songs mashed up, I thought it worked well. The riffing would destroy the live show but I don't mind it for a TV promo performance. And Lucie is already sounding great (as I knew she would).

Then as normal but with audience flow for bar and auditorium.

I've just experienced the new Ladies on the Dress Circle. Five cubicles! FOUR sinks!! The show hasn't even begun and I'm happy.

They just broadcast the curtain call on Instagram and the atmosphere looked absolutely amazing.

They just broadcast the curtain call on Instagram and the atmosphere looked absolutely amazing. It was! The cheers had just died down when Jon Robyns said "Welcome back to the West End!" and the place erupted again. Just the atmosphere I was hoping for. Big applause after all the big numbers. It was incredible. I don't have much in the way of a review, just a few points. I didn't think this would be a take away point but little Cosette was amazing! She has the voice of someone 10 years older. She was sweet without being annoying. She got applause after Castle on a Cloud. Bradley Jaden isn't a favourite Javert of mine, but I did enjoy his descent into absolute madness! I felt the power of his crazy eyes from the Dress Circle. Jon Robyns is a decent Valjean. He certainly has the vocal range. I'd like to see stronger acting in the full production. Poor guy completely lost his way in the Soliloquy. He was silent for a painfully long time and had to go to the back and get a cue. I bet a good 50% of the audience were singing the lines in their head willing him on! But he recovered and his BHH was brilliant. Lots of ad libs from the Thenadiers but they were pretty funny. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Also lastly to note, my ticket said enter at Door 3. There was no Door 3. There's A (stalls), B (dress), and C (upper). So keep that in mind when you find where to queue!

Door number refers to the door to the auditorium, not the paths outside the theatre.
Pretty much agree with all you've said. Jon Robyns was really good and overall very strong cast. What a wonderful feeling being there and experiencing so much talent on stage. There is nothing like live theatre and let's hope it won't have to close again.

Also, I was in the stalls and Cameron was there all the time moving around and giving instructions to some people, probably creative team, and even though he was distracting me sometimes I just love how much hands on he is at the age of 74, making sure his show is up to scratch.

Can you go into more detail about what happened with Jon Robyns?

Oh yes, when he’s not butchering the show to save money and cut out original creatives who made the shows what they are.

We wouldn't expect an audience member to get up and move around the auditorium so why is he any different?

You're quite right although I really appreciate his dedication and wanted to say something nice after all the abuse he's got on this forum but I already regret mentioning it. Anyway, I was sat in the last row and he was mostly at the back so I don't think it was an issue for most people.

It's not uncommon for the creative team to sit in the back of stalls, take notes etc during previews

Damned if he does, damned if he doesn’t. There were creatives scribbling away in all corners at the DEH preview we attended...mostly in boxes...and Heathers at TOP. I’m sure they try and keep still, but if they need to get a note or idea to someone onstage there I can’t see they could short of texting someone backstage.

Anyone potentially interested in a single ticket for tonight? I’m supposed to be there for my first show this year but stranded at Rugby station with no trains, looking like I’m losing my first theatre trip and £100 of birthday money in one fell swoop. Gutted doesn’t even begin to cover it.

Delfont Mackintosh have been very good exchanging tickets during the pandemic. Why don't you call them or contact them on twitter? They are sold out today, so they should be able to take it back. Hope you don't lose the money

A friend of mine is taking the seat for tonight. I've managed to get a pair at £47.50 each for tomorrow mat so same price overall, but that still relies on the trains being up and running again and them letting me on since most journeys before show time are already listed as sold out.
