Disappointing and lacking the superstar quality they'd hyped it with if the info in that is correct though it's all names that had been mentioned here

I didn't see a 'Cinders' named though, which is where I thought the 'name' would be. As panto goes it's quite a respectable line up; as a West End panto goes, it's missing a star.

Disappointing and lacking the superstar quality they'd hyped it with if the info in that is correct though it's all names that had been mentioned here To be fair, that's just three cast members announced, and all three (if this list is correct) are seasoned panto bods, which you need in a panto. Also, Julian, Paul and Lee have all been in productions of Cinderella before and have worked together before. There's no mention of Cinders, Wicked Step-mother, Uglies and Fairy Godmother in that vid, so I'm guessing that the 'stars' will be one or more of those people. |

They NEED big names for this... Like a real A or B celeb not the typical household name like Paul O'Grady or Biggins who have done panto for years. Nothing special. They need a one off UK celeb/royal family member or pop royalty like Kylie, Madonna, Cher, Britney etc (although difficult I bet and some would never do it)..
Bet we will end up with John Barrowman haha..

You can get them right down to 26 in the balcony. Orchestra 69, 62 or 55 if you go though the Palladium so no ticket fee. John Barrowman is far too busy being on American tv. And absolutely nothing wrong with the lineup listed if its right. |

I can imagine it will be those three, plus some huge name for the Fairy Godmother and/or Cinderella. Or maybe even a good duo for the Ugly Sisters? Who knows. |

The rolls announced aren't typically the "stunt casted" rolls for QDos, although the Prince sometimes is (being absent from a great deal of the show limits exposure to a perhaps not spectacular actor/singer). The rumoured names all scream "Fairy Godmother" to me. Casting a name for Cinders herself would be more of a challenge, as they normally have to take on the brunt of the singing. Wouldn't be surprised if we got a "West End" name for the title roll, with the megastar as the Godmother. Put some reasonable names as the ugly sisters, a bit of a challenge, but then I think you'd have a good show.
