Surprised that is full line up. They usually have an American headliner but I still thought there would be another headliner in that mix. They usually have 4 headlines, right? Last year was Verne, Marcus, Jarred and Flawless and year before was Linda Gray, Tim, Wayne Sleep and Matthew Kelly.

Probably, with the post-referendum collapse of the pound, the New Wimbledon couldn't afford a huge American headliner this year.

I mean the last Dick Whittondon panto at Wimbledon had a fab cast! Dame Edna, Sam Atwater, Anna Williamson, Kev Orkian and Eric Potts!

Why do Wimbledon always leave their casting announcements to October? It seems very late especially as all the other First Family venues have already announced theirs by then

After saying I was going to see this a few days ago after checking prices last night I have changed my mind. Silly money and I don't want the upper circle as leg room is awful. Stalls and grand circle seats are £70 plus, apart from a few £55 stalls at back or end of Row. I can see 2 shows for the price of one ticket here so will give it a miss.
How can a family afford it.

They've got a family ticket deal available for part of the run, but I agree - the prices are ridiculous, and more expensive for a matinee (prime family time) than evening which is pure exploitation IMO. Still going, mind... especially thankful to be solo for this one! |

I hate that Amanda Holden is so successful... It makes this life a bad unfair reality... I'm sorry, but I think she is false and plastic and untalented and utterly dreadful.

It'll be a standard large-scale Qdos pantomime - i.e. the same jokes their stars use every year, but it'll be a massive production, there'll be at least one, probably two, flying effects that will put Elphaba's flight to shame.
If anyone has ever seen Michael Harrison's other pantos in Birmingham or Newcastle over previous years, this is the sort of level that can be expected.
I for one am very excited!
