Can't find the story online but the Guardian reports that Mischief Theatre is taking over the Vaudeville Theatre for a year long residency, starting with a new play called "Groan Ups" (hilarious) with two other plays to follow
Starts in September with priority booking opening today.

Just got a priority booking mail from Nimax for some reason (no idea I was registered with them!)
Stalls and dress circle are £45 to £52.50 with £75 premium seats. Upper circle is £20 and £30. Supposed to be £10 off all price bands for the first 10 performances but this doesn't seem to work at the moment.

So excited!
Glad to see that theatre getting something exciting for a year! I don't know why, but I see the Vaudeville as a really boring theatre in the West End. I rarely see anything there I have any desire to see.

A lot of theatre being confirmed today.
I thought that Mischief theatre had hooked up with Penn and Teller and creating a new show called Magic Gone Wrong. They are doing this season programme as well.
So now wondering if the 2nd part of the Dominic Dromgroole season is now dead?

Personally I would like to see one of their other shows close (synical I know), purely because I find their comedy to be very ‘samey’ and to have three theatres (with this being different to when they were at the Apollo because this is for a year not a couple of months) takes away scope for variety.

I think this is a bit different because this is a residency of three new plays with one replacing the other so it’s not going to be a long runner like the other two, I understand that, but my point is that I generally find their comedy quite repetitive, so even if the narratives are different I still believe that these three plays will be 'similar in some ways' if you catch my drift. I think when there is this one/very similar style of comedy in three different theatres, I wouldn't be disappointed if one of the others then closed.

How fabulous! I'd be delighted if they took over the whole of London's glitzy West End.
J'approve.

Is Dawnstar not about or has she died of excitement ! She's not commented on Twitter either ... Weeping into her bank account ...? I think that Mischief has enough fans nowadays to be over-excited on Twitter without me needing to join in. (Actually, if you look at my Tweets & Replies rather than just Tweets I have made a number of comments.) In terms of ticket booking, as Nimax evidently doesn't consider me worthy of getting the previews £10 offer that other people have mentioned - despite the number of seats I've booked with them over the last few years - I am holding off until Monday when more of tickets are supposed to go onsale in the hope that there may be stalls seats available at less than £52.50, as I cannot currently afford to make repeat bookings at that price.

Anyone else quite relieved that the lack of earlier comment from Dawnstar was NOT because she was done some shady clinic getting her vital organs valued? Since I was quizzing you on Twitter about the Vaudeville you knew anyway that I was around!
