Had an email with a presale link come through from Lovetheatre this morning - £80 for premium seats? After his er, 'unique' performance as Lex Luthor in Batman vs. Superman (although to be honest, no one in that came out smelling of roses acting wise), I'll pass on this one, well at that price anyway but I doubt booking through ATG tomorrow will throw up any bargains.
To be honest, I think he's a bit of a one trick pony, I liked him in The Squid and The Whale and Adventureland but all of his movie roles seem very much the same these days.

Yes, the prices are pretty jaw dropping! I paid about £25 for the front of the stalls when I saw it in NY.

Interested in this but hate Trafalgar Studios seating and prices! Presumably £15 Mondays will happen for this?

I wouldn't presume so, the £15 Mondays appear to be a Jamie Lloyd thing rather than a Trafalgar Studios thing. I may yet be proven wrong, but I wouldn't count on it.

I saw this on my birthday in New York and absolutely loved it, cannot recommend it enough! Jesse gives such a stunning performance and was one of the best leading actors I saw in 2015. I thought it was a very interesting play and I would love to see it again! I wonder how the play will do here, I think Jesse and Kunal are big draws.

Booked on the Jesse and Kunal premise, knowing nothing about this. SO pleased there's a couple of good reviews on here (xx).
Stupidly booked for the same night as The Go Between, but bless their hearts ATG swapped me for the next night, same seats.
And yes, raised eyebrows over the prices on this! Especially for the Trafalgar.

Looking on ATG, even the front row is £80, I'm definitely going to give this a miss.

Also saw this in New York last year, and agree that it is well worth watching. That said, I would be thinking twice at those prices... ?

Looking on ATG, even the front row is £80, I'm definitely going to give this a miss. The majority of the front seven rows all being priced at £80 is ridiculous. Every seat on what's currently the front row is also flagged to say that additional seats may be added in front!

If they don't sell well, some seat prices may go down!
If they sell quickly, some seat prices may go up!
Same as for premium pricing on every other show with premium pricing.
Doesn't anyone have any more interesting comments on pricing other than the oft-repeated: "I want to pay a lower price"?
How about a thrilling discussion about the attraction of prices which are odd numbers or prime numbers or which end: "99p"!

I only now buy tickets if they are priced as an exact multiplier of Pi.

Battle of Trafalgar 21 Oct 1805
Day seats at Trafalgar Studios should cost £21.10 (central) and £18.05 (sides).

Booked on the Jesse and Kunal premise, knowing nothing about this. SO pleased there's a couple of good reviews on here (xx). But is the whole cast transferring or only Eisenberg? While I found the movies I've seen him in pretty dire so far (especially the tedious American Ultra), I do quite like him. And although I gave up on Big Bang Theory a while ago, it would indeed be fun to see one of them on stage, so Kunal Nayyar's presence might nudge me into booking for this. Not at these prices though

As Baemax says, the £15 Mondays are a Jamie Lloyd thing not a Trafalgar thing so won't apply to this.
Kunal Nayyar is confirmed although he is not appearing from 1-13 August. Impression is the rest of the cast will be new.

Lovetheatre offered tix at exorbitant prices.
So I checked ATG direct and, as a member, I got tix in row H at normal prices (albeit high enough at £59.50 each).

Booked for this as I'm a big Jesse Eisenberg fan. Back row as that was the most reasonable price wise and didn't mind it when I saw The Maids! Wonder how it'll sell.

It's rather ironic that a show at the Trafalgar Studios, with its delightful seating, describes itself as a "painfully awkward" comedy.
Booked for 3rd June.

Ran 2h20m in NY. That's a lot of painful awkwardness.

Nah, that's about a sensible length for a play and is honestly the first thing I've read that's making me considering going.
