In that case we need everyone camped out at the major rehearsal spaces to get a march on Baz.
“Well I saw Ruth Madoc coming out of Battersea Arts so she MUST be in it”
…but I saw Dev from Corrie at Pineapple in shell suit bottoms and a split soled dance shoe. I think we’ve found our Satine. 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣

Dean John Wilson tweeted earlier about having exciting news soon so guess the rumour earlier in the thread about him being in this could be true....not as Christian surely? Can it?!

Looks as though Liisi Lafontaine (Dreamgirls) is coming over here for it, and I imagine she’d be playing Satine. Don’t see why she’d cart over her for any other role? Judging from her and her friends Instagram stories last night there was a send off party for her, and one of her friends posted a picture of a cake, of which was a moulin rouge playbill saying ‘Piccadilly theatre’ She was good in dream girls, so excited to see her here! do we know if she’s in london cause she would need to be if rehearsals were starting this week? |

I suspect most people will book because it's Moulin Rouge and not who's in it.
Could Dean John Wilson be playing the Duke rather than Christian?

They need a pair who you believe have feelings for each other in this. I loved the show when I saw it in Boston for the spectacle but the chemistry between the leading pair was non-existent which made me think it lost a lot of what the film has to offer.
