I was looking through the thread, wanting to book up for September. Can someone please tell me if Miriam-Teak Lee is going to be in it? If so, I’ll not bother and see something else instead! Can’t stand her!

You shouldn't talk about the show you have just seen until you get home apparently....

Hmmm I think he shouldn’t have posted that… what’s he hoping to prove? All he’s doing is advertising that some people think the shows bad.
Everyone is allowed an opinion. Some of the loudest opinions I’ve heard on trains or IN THEATRES are other west end turns slating the shows and talking loudly.
If the 2 girls in question were slagging off the terrible acting of the leads.. then BRAVO 😂

I've seen this a few times on Twitter, these 'PSAs' from performers saying people shouldn't be talking badly about the show on trains, etc. in case a performer is there and overhears. I disagree, people are absolutely entitled to talk to their friends about the show they just saw, wherever they happen to be, even if they didn't like it. You don't get to tell people to be quiet just because you might be nearby and your feelings might be hurt. As a performer you need a thicker skin than that. Or just put your earphones in/move carriages if you'd rather not hear. As the saying goes 'what other people think of you is none of your business'. Or something like that. I don't want to hear about someone's sexual exploits/how much they hate their boss/what they're having for dinner on the train either, but I don't get to police other people's conversations, and mind my own business. And can put my earphones in if I don't like it.

He should just put his headphones on the minute he leaves the theatre.
I’m sure it isn’t nice to hear things like that- but I do not see the gain in doing a broadcast telling people how they should behave.

On the theme of telling people how to behave, he could just leave after the audience has gone

Dear me. What on earth would possess him to share that publicly? How embarrassing for him.

Shame. The gist was that he overheard something he didn’t like? On his way home he overheard two girls who had just seen moulin rouge and were saying loudly (apparently) what they didn't like about it. He then said something to them about maybe not being so loud with their criticism as you dont know who is around (and listed every criticism they said, therefore telling all his followers how bad the show is lol). He then went on to say opinions are fine (although I don't think he meant that) and that people shouldn't discuss the shows they have just seen until they are at home. All said in a patronising and snooty manner

Judging by lots of the comments on TikTok , it didn’t go down as well as he clearly hoped. Funny that .

Couldn’t these poor delicate flowers all make a self help group together or something?
Carly Hall Fisher (star actress): “Someone looked at me funny as I came out of the stage door. I was like, basically assaulted. Fans have no sense of boundary, one even made eye contact with me.”
Davina Precious: “Oh that’s nothing darling, we had some people come to the show whose age and sexuality I don’t like - the show isn’t for them anyway love, didn’t they get the memo?”
Anonymous T. Swing: “Look at me, look at me, look at meeeeeee! I’m the biggest victim ever. Two paying customers didn’t like the show and said it OUT LOUD!!!! Check my TikTok babes, got to get those likes xx”

His tik-tok bio:
”Swing - Original West End Cast of Moulin Rouge! The Musical • Help me get to 5k?”
Sadly increasing your number of followers seems to trump everything these days including having some common sense. And looking at a few of the videos (my bad back, my mental health, my insecurities, how hard everything is, look how fabulous I am) I’m surprised he has the 4200 he already has.

I did wonder if it was an attempt to get attention and followers. People have no integrity these days and will sell out for likes. Acting dumb, being controversial, or playing the eternal victim are usually the three main ways people achieve this.

Jamie Muscato as Christian and Melissa James as Satine confirmed. Matt Rixon as Zidler, Ben Richards as The Duke and Ian Carlyle moves up from understudying to take over Toulouse.

Such a shame to see Clive Carter and Jason Pennycooke leaving - they were my favourites when I saw this back in January. Lots of new faces and looks like some of our board members were right with Jamie Muscato and Melissa James!
