There's not exactly an abundance of theatres available to fit all the rumoured shows. The only big theatres I see being available realistically are the Savoy, the Shaftesbury, the Dominion and possibly the Prince Edward but I reckon the latter is being saved for the rumoured Oliver! revival. I equally wondered about the Savoy losing Pretty Woman next year, especially with My Fair Lady’s announcement. They are essentially the same story at their roots, and PW has had a decent run thus far, especially if the intention is still to tour it. It’s the first I’ve heard about the Shaftesbury though, is & Juliet struggling?

I have heard that & Juliet is recasting for March so that suggests it isn't struggling

What's this about Newsies? If its with a different choreographer then I guess that means it's not Disney bringing it in and it's a revival/UK version?

I'd love to see Newsies come over, but would prefer the same version. Still, I'll take what I can get. Still annoyed that they couldn't get a suitable theatre back in 2014 when it was originally tried.

Not a rumour just hope. The Van Hove West Side did not reopen on Broadway and so is it now possible the wonderful Curve production can transfer into town?
With the Spielberg film opening at Christmas I'm sure we'll see more WSS over the next few years

YV’s Best of Enemies is going into the West End next year (not a musical obv), not sure which theatre. Seems quite ambitious to have a transfer in place before the show has even been seen by audiences and critics. The only theatre I can think of which might be free is the Wyndham's from March or possibly the Criterion, everything else is solidly booked.

Would love to see Hadestown (back) over here - I missed the run at the National but have been obsessed with the cast album for a while now. Maybe with a little hype from it’s now-established Broadway production (including the Tony wins) might stir a little more interest than before? Also, it would suit a smaller theatre (the Walter Kerr has under 1000 seats) which may broaden it’s options…
And sadly I think Sunday in the Park with George is dead rather than silent - I thought there had been a press release from the producer to this effect?

Newsies booked into the Troubadour by all accounts. Tickets on sale in December. Been waiting for this transfer for so long! Production at Arts Ed a couple of years back was fabulous, fingers crossed this will be just as good!

I have wanted to see this for years but sadly didn’t get around to the ArtsEd production so have survived on the proshoot.

That theatre doesn’t look like much though, certainly not anywhere that I’d like to sit further than the front few rows. Anyone been and can shed light on the size of stage or views?

For a show I've only ever sat in the front section to the side and had a good view. I did see them record All Star Musicals here and was right at the back and it was distant, but fine.

Yeah I can't see it happening either, Joseph counts Jac out from March to October.
But he would be SO good.

I think they’d be crazy not to cast him to be honest, he’s proven he can do the role in the Arts Ed production and it’s that performance that got him noticed by Michael Harrison and ALW. He’s a true triple threat and a rising star in the west end and this would be a brilliant next gig for him after Joseph. I just hope the transfer doesn’t happen until end of next year so he’s done with the Joseph tour.

The thing about Joseph is that it doesn't show off Jac's dancing talent very much. We got to see a bit more of him dancing at Panto last year with Charlie Stemp but would love to see him do something with more dancing.

Where’s that been announced? Haven’t seen Jac posting about it at all and I’d have thought going to Canada next Christmas would be something he’s post about!
