Baz just tweeted: Producer #RobertFox rumoured to be opening #DavidBowie musical #Lazarus at new temp theatre #KingsCross late 2016-17
As for School of Rock, maybe the New London may be a better size venue for it capacity wise, but isn't it a thrust stage? Still can't seeing opening this autumn though...

I assume if Larazus goes to the Kings Cross Theatre, ITH will likely close in October as it hasn't extended unlike the Railway Children

According to the kids casting call for 'School of Rock', the proposed opening is Spring 2017 with rehearsals starting in March.

Over the past couple of days there have been agent adverts on Facebook which look suspiciously similar to the previous School of Rock ones asking talented children who play instruments to contact them. 'needed from this Summer' No actual mention of SOR.
Could be a coincidence but if not would fit an Autumn opening at the New London.

It's had a good run and outperformed Memphis and others from its season. I think when Katie left it was the start of its tailing off period and I wouldn't expect it to last into the new year

I wouldn't be surprised if Sunny Afternoon closes,it's discounting as well and it's still not extended its booking period which is very unusual

Finding Neverland will most likely go to the Aldwych Theatre I think.

Sunny has had a good run and its touring later this year, I'm surprised nothing going into the likes of the Duke of York's and the Wyndham's although TBF they couldn't have expected Lady Day to be postponed.

Shows have been offered the Wyndhams has been offered to people but there is so little time to get a show publicised etc, they are getting turn down. I understand that several shows are after The Duke of Yorks though, so they are exploring their options.

School of Rock. New London. November.
Nothing will take the Wyndham's now. It's too late for a show opening in June, unless People, Places and Things extends!

This is my thoughts on what will be in London for next year. Palladium - Used for concerts, TV shows etc. Drury Lane - Mary Poppins Phoenix - The Girls New London - School of Rock Aldwych - Finding Neverland Noel Coward - Long day's journey (transfer) Wyndhams - Another regional production or fringe transfer. Please post your verisoms too!

It looks like Sunny Afternoon is extending four more months until October as the ATG website has updated but no bookable dates so I guess a new show couldn't be found for the Harold Pinter.

Surprised that the Mother hasn't transferred to the Wyndham, as it sold better at the Tricycle than the Father did, I found this a harder ticket to get.
I be surprised if the Wyndham is dark until September, Delfont Mackintosh art adapt at getting in shows quickly, look how fast Good People came in, after The Full Monty tanked.
It could even mean something like Let It Be comes in (did I really say that), as a stopgap.

What show could come in at such short notice though?
