I think Dress Circle still do them but unfortunately their Covent Store is no longer open. You can, however, go to their website and order that way.

There really is little left anymore. Over the last twenty years or so, the shops that might sell second hand cast recording records have disappeared, even from London. Always a niche market, even online sources are diminishing. You might find things of interest on Discogs and occasionally on Ebay. Sorry for not being able to be more positive!
Is there anything in particular that you’re looking for?

Charity shops is where I get mine but I'm a skin flint and wont pay more than £2. Some branches (in particular Oxfam) specialise in vinyl and books. I think the Oxfam in Islington is one of those.

Fopp should still be open. They have a small selection on the upper floor. The shop itself is in the middle of the West End, roughly between Harry Potter and Matilda.

One very well his secret shop which is basically the new dress circle, Is - SOUNDS ORIGINAL 169 South Ealing rod London W5 4QP
It has an extensive range of all Original London, broadway recordings of Vinyl and CDS, most are out of print, . Most for under £10. No modern stuff like Hamilton or generic cds you see in HMV. When I mean a lot I mean two walls full of every musical you can possibly imagine, even obscure ones. It’s 25 mins tube ride out from central London on Piccadilly line but worth the visit.
Your welcome

It’s all old school musicals 20s-90s lots of recordings of same musical but different productions, please not it’s mostly vinyls but there are lots of cds. It’s a collectors dream. Also a whole shelf for Liza and Judy!

If you're looking for cast recordings on cd or (particularly) on vinyl, try Discogs. It started as a database aiming to record every record/tape/cd/78 etc etc release ever. Clearly that will never happen, but it's user generated so just keeps getting bigger. It's also now a marketplace for sellers around the world. Cast recordings aren't generally highly sought, so if you want original vinyl releases, should be (relatively) inexpensive. You should be able to find pretty much any cd version as well. (I do sell on there, but not really anything relevant to this forum)

(I do sell on there, but not really anything relevant to this forum) Discogs is good for the really obscure stuff. I was one short of a complete collection of Broadway cast recordings and finally got hold of it just after Christmas. It was never officially released and the creators seem to have destroyed most of those that did exist, a show about the My Lai massacre called The Lieutenant. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Lieutenant_(musical)It now sits proudly alongside my copy of Clownaround (and maybe a handful of people in the world will realise the significance of that one!) Ebay is a decent source but bricks and mortar no longer. I used to have a handful of record stores that I would rgularly visit when in London but now all gone. Dress Circle, Dean Street, MVE’s separate stores in Notting Hill, the second hand stores on a side street off Chinatown and on Berwick Street. Even those that are still there are a pale shadow of their former selves.

Had some great books from there in the really well priced 2 for £5! Gutted!

Ahhhhh, a sad topic.... There really isn't anywhere these days.
Used to love the musicals section downstairs in Ox Circus HMV in the 80s and 90s. So many international cast recordings. Remember saving up pocket money for USA Starlight, Australia Cats etc etc. Fun times. Tower Records was also great. In fact the decline of Dress Circle started earlier than CDs in general I would say and for a while HMV was much better.
