Son of a Tutu seems quite against this. He’s said he’s consider it. He’s also worked hard over the past year to improve his make up skills... so is he gearing up for it in the future? He’s against the casting misogyny and calling it out on FB. I assume therefore he wouldn’t do it unless that changes?! Or it’d be a bit hypocritical.

I can't believe that Baga made it onto the show...but it might make it interesting. She's about as far removed from your usual Ru Girl as you can get. Maybe Sandra will get onto Season 2.... The only other one i know is Davina, but only from All Together Now. I don’t know anything about Baga, could you explain what you mean please? The times I've seen her, she's never made an effort with much of a look, the make up looked like it had been done on the bus and basically just swore at customers for 45 mins. I think she can sing quite well though Admittedly I haven't seen her in a long time, so maybe she's really upped her game, but I'd be surprised

I guess he’s now backtracked after the casting reveal, and would only agree to it if there is fairer representation of the UK Drag community.

I guess the skill levels won’t be as high as the US queens across the board.

I am highly intrigued by this and I'm tempted to watch, tho the persistent plugging of it on adverts all across socials and even on Strictly is starting to bug me. I've seen reactions from US RPDR fans and most of them seemed to be moaning about how the UK contestants looked. British drag is a whhhhoooollllleeee different kettle of fish, darlings. Much more comedy orientated, for the most part, and much less fish and glamour. Now it's the Americans' turn to scratch their heads at the celebs on Snatch Game

Surprised to discover that this will be online on BBC3. I would have thought one of the cable channels especially Sky or ITV2 or ITVBe would have looked to have snapped it up given the advertising revenue it will generate.

Is there going to be an Untucked for this? There is a short untucked section, but its included in the main show.
I thought this was great! The introduction of all the queens was hilarious and much funnier and cruder than the US version. It all felt very British. When it shows in the US it will probably need subtitles and alot of the slang and references will go over their heads.
A real good mix of styles and i was impressed at the creativity on display.
I felt a bit sorry for the queen that left as she was out of her depth in the runway and lipsynch, but i loved the look she came in, in.
I can't wait for next week

Well, that 60 minutes flew by! What a great first episode and its amazing how understanding all the references really adds something else to the show. Bring on next week.

Not sure I agree with the top three - but overall it felt authentic Drag Race and suitably British.
Crystal is a very pretty boy!

When they sent off the 4 safe queen's I was so confused because I thought they were definitely the best 4. I think I'm mostly basing that on their Queen looks rather than their hometown looks though so I'd probably have to look again to make sure but I was definitely confused at the time.

I enjoyed it, i think it was a bit jarring though because we are so used to american accents coming from that workroom and runway studio, so it all felt a little strange, especially when you are hearing references to Eastenders and Kim Woodburn! Obviously once the series is up and running it will feel more normal.

How did Gothy Kendoll even get cast? She was absolutely terrible!

Absolutely fabulous. I was dying laughing within the first minute! {Spoiler - click to view}The biggest surprise for me was Scaredy. Her runway looks were inspired, and not just a one trick pony that I was expecting, with all pink and kittens and stuff 24/7. I'll keep an eye on her. I hate to bash Gothy too much as she was very nervous but her performance and looks were exceedingly bad. Alan Carr's scathing comment about the tiger look had me roaring Also did anybody see Vinegar's original hometown look? How cool is this!! If only she'd got the licensing... *shakes fist @ TfL*

I knew of the programme but had never seen it before. I'm afraid I was a bit bored by the half way point. Some amazing bits but that was about it. If each week is a variation of the same theme not sure I'll bother to stick with it.

It really comes into its own when the queens start arguing with each other. That’s what spawned the classic line “ this isn’t Rupaul’s best friend race!” 😆

Another great episode. Lovely to see so much of the queens in the work room and spend some more downtime with them compared to the US series thanks to the full hour show. Only complaint this episode was that Baga was safe which was ridiculous since she her outfit was arguably just as bad as Vinegar Strokes'. It's obvious they kept her safe so she'd be in Snatch Game next episode and didn't want to risk having her lip sync and at least they didn't even try to be shy about it this time by showing her outfit very unflatteringly and keeping her saying she was surprised in. I think they realise the audience knows it's pretty rigged now in terms of the judging so they're just owning it and being blatant about it.

The right decision I think. In terms of Baga being safe, I actually thought that whilst the outfit wasn’t brilliant, it fit the brief better than the others in the bottom.

Baga must be so much better than she comes over through the screen. That was a ridiculously bad Maggie for Snatch Game.
And someone needs to take The Vivienne down several pegs. Confidence is one thing - but it is tipped over into arrogance for me now.
UK queens need to up their game - they really do.

I thought Baga was good and to be honest The Vivienne confidence is earned, she's been one of the most polished so far and her snatch game was absolutely brilliant.
