God I eat my words re the ticket prices - extortionate! Dunno what's going on. Is this not produced by ALW/RUG as he is normally so vocal re keeping things if not affordable as such, on the lower side of West End top prices, especially for shows where kids may be interested - School of Rock reflects this and Cats at the Palladium was much cheaper than this. I can't actually find who the producer is.... Go right back to the first post in this thread for the answer  Ahhhhh ok, so it's not ALW/RUG. OK will I feel slightly better now I know I'm not being ripped off by the Lord himself! Interesting though as ALW has been very vocal in wanting to do something for Joseph's 50th so you'd thought his company would produce it. (Though very latterly he has said a few times he has finally understood that there can be a benefit to handing over a completed musical to a producer/director and ending creative involvement there....) |

Have booked 2 sets of tickets- one is a group of us that used to go to the show a lot back in the day, and then a pair of tickets for me and Young. I may still day/ rush seat for this as I know that Littlest would love it too.

My advice would be to book the cheapest ticket you can get. If you don't mind being fairly high up then Upper Circle and if that bothers you rear stalls.

So are the seats on the first few rows not very good then They don't always see the floor of the stage, and the rake isn't as noticeable, but put it this way, it's where I always sit if blowing the budget. "Premium" means the best views in the house, theoretically, and at the Palladium those don't kick in until a few rows back if you are taking the opinion of seeing the entire stage without straining and not seeing faces quite as close up as the front rows. Anyway, pricing the very front rows below premium stops pushing those who can't pay those prices right to the back, which is no bad thing IMHO. Very much my thinking. For £85 I'd rather be close to the action in row B or C than behind the premium seats in rows Q/R/S.... |

I really do think that this is a Carrie’s role to lose at the moment. She’d sing the arse off of the Narrator, she is on the Lords’ radar after Heathers, comes with a built in fan base plus has history with the Palladium which would nicely bring things full circle. Happy for her to be the talent and chuck some pecs into the loincloth. What ‘rumours’ have people heard other than this one?

I hope it's someone 'new;' not new new but bubbling beneath most MT fans consciousness. When I saw Linzi Hateley in the role I hadn't previously heard of her and was blown away. Likewise Jenna Lee James who took over from Priya Kalidas. Fantastic voice, quite rocky with incredible belt, bit like Kerry Ellis. Anyway, it's all a bit unfortunate my feelings re CHF. I've seen her once, in Les Miserables and actually thought that she was great and her talent undeniable. But all the Twitter stuff and the fan girl circus that seems to come with her, territoriality over day seats and generally bad audience behaviour (and seemingly on a worsening trajectory) is all a bit much. And it distracts from the show. I've booked for front stalls and don't really want cup cakes flying over my head. (Having said that, when they cast a pop star as Joseph I'll eat my words as that'll make the CRH fans look demure and reserved lol.....) |

Considering that Joseph was the second youngest of Jacob's sons, if they do bring Jason back, how old will the other brothers have to be??
Jason doesnt have the high profile he used to have, so it definitely wont be him. But i'd still go if he was, as long as Linzi does it with him.

The thing with the Palladium, you’ll always find a decent price ticket eventually. They clearly price high but end up selling low.
