Okii so the sex... I actuslly found it quite a sexy show and wasn't uncomfortable once. There is no nudity bar Ramin's shirt and Kerry spends half the show in a black see through bodice pretty much. Any sex is more implied than actually shown. Alot of over the clothes grinding, grabbing ass and boob etc. There is only one scene where a proper sexual act is shown when Kerry is giving Ramin a blowjob but it is not explicitly shown and from a distance it would look real but from the front Kerry is just pushing her face into Ramin's crotch over the jeans. I don't know if I would go with my parents as it is quite a sexual show, but I think it is personal preference!

I have specifically joined the forum (well, I was on the old one but just been viewing since it moved) to say I'm going to see this show with my mum this weekend!!
I'm too excited about this cast to try and do anything about it now. They could have warned us further in advance!
This could be the most awkward evening of my life 😳

Ahh so this was awful. I cannot believe such a good cast are in such a bad show. Direction is truly awful, lighting awful, sound awful, set design awful. If there was an award for the most pointless revolve in theatre history this show would surely win. Such a brutally unforgettable score, badly staged fight scenes.....Yes the cast are good but everything else is so poor that it makes it a bad night at the theatre. I would avoid but I absolutely would not pay anything near £50 to see it. Go see Ramin and Kerry in concert where there's a chance of their voices being allowed to sore. It's not "Exposure" bad but it's a damn close second.

Sorry to say but this is puerile tosh, of interest I suppose mostly to people for whom Fifty Shades of Grey is profound. The cast work hard (some more than others) but the whole thing is so pointlessly risible that you need Ramin's bare chest to generate at least some mild audience reaction. Poor Kerry kept getting entangled when it came time for her supposed disrobing. Embarrassing tripe masquerading as trendiness.

Just to add my opinion... Saw this on Tuesday night so the last preview? It's not something I would see again. The cast are all great but the storyline for me was weak and the songs not very memorable. Victoria was the stand out.. her voice is just amazing. I also agree that the staging is very bizarre 😶

Seems most reviews are giving this 3* with a couple of 4*s.

Seeing this in a couple of weeks time having booked having regard to a stellar cast and the "taster" at West End Live. Given the wildly varying reviews should be interesting. I'm slightly surprised, as a newcomer to this forum at the somewhat prim attitudes to sex appearing in various posts. Surely adult members don't expect to see musicals about witches/phantoms/genies and the like only? Lighten up guys.

I think it's how it's done that is the main issue here, not that it's there.

I mean for me the more adult the musical the better, but surely it's understandable that people are concerned when they've booked to see it with their parents.

But that's not something I'd like to watch with my parents sitting next to me tbh.

I love a bit of sex both in my personal life and theatrical life! I never felt uncomfortable at all.

A friend of mine was there last night and told me had there been an interval, he would have left.
Sounds like a waste of a talented cast - such a shame.

It should also be noted that there isn't even a break in the songs, so no applause throughout the show. But there was a full standing ovation at the end of the show, with very enthusiastic cheering at the end last night.

I like the score, I dont love, my main goal is the cast (especially Ramin and not only because he's a god), so I think I will still try this one.

How naked does Ramin get? Just topless but at the very beginning you are teaed with his jeans being undone and his trousers being lowered slightly.
