I knew that it was coming over next year but I wasn't expecting it quite like this. There's some interesting choices here....

On the one hand, that score and that orchestra.
On the other, the casting. You win some, you lose some.
(Oh, who am I kidding? Of course I'll see it.)

Well, no one has to worry that Renee will make them forget the indelible performances of Victoria Clark. She inhabited that role to perfection.

Wonderful news. A quick google tells me that tickets are to go on sale next week. Anyone got anything more exact than that. I don't have southbank membership (much to my teen daughter's annoyance after this week's Michelle Obama ticket shenanigans) so am looking for the date that they go on sale to a general audience.

If course I’ll be there and I’m sure it will sound fabulous. But this really is chamber story in an epic space that isn’t a theatre - remember Follies and Wizzard of Oz?
Also it’s in the month of June, has Evan’s got time off for the busiest months of the festival ?

I have never seen it before. I tried to listen to the cast recording but struggled terribly with Matthew Morrison's Italian pronunciation.

OMGay. Consider me excited. Renee Fleming is gorgeous and that voice is just a gift from the Gods.

Renee Fleming? Really? I thought Dove Cameron had it in her contract somewhere that if she's doing any sort of musical then Kristin Chenoweth *has* to play her mother.

Baffled that Baz's tweet says that Renee Fleming is making her London debut. Where exactly does he think the Royal Opera House, where she sang regularly for some 25 years, is located?
I've never heard of Dove Cameron. Having just looked her up & found that she's American, is she known enough over here to attract any audiences?

I am SO excited for this: has become one of my favourites: that ravishing score...oh yes! Was far and away the theatre highlight of a NY trip years ago: literally booked it as a “I wonder what this will be like” moment, only to have that performance broadcast. A stunning musical.

As I have publicly stated on this forum on many occasions, I am an Australian. I am also an EU National -I hold dual passports- and at the first opportunity will be submitting a Settled Status application. This my comment.

35 - 150
I would not pay 35 for the back row - you may as well sit behind a pillar.
Expensive, lots of seats and an unknown show. This will discount aplenty
