Took the offer, despite the booking fee, doubt this will be as popular as Yerma but the memory of the stupidly long queue which took hours to get through hangs heavily, at least the fee is cheaper than becoming a friend which I was considering.
Looking forward to the ones booking on Monday gloating there was no queue and got through in seconds.

Today Tix have a pre sale for the season now if anyone wants to avoid the rush (but pay a fee) Thanks for the tip-off! Just created a day of Arthur Miller, adding a Death of a Salesman matinee to All My Sons in the evening.  |

Today Tix presale price a lot higher this time. I think I paid £10 for band A Fun Home and the Inheritance, but that price only seems to be for the under 25 now (and that was long time ago for me!)
Do we think it’s worth going Band A? It’s such a small theatre.

The cheap ones can be lot luck Only reason I haven't done it through the young Vic this time is because I think it'll be very busy on Monday for salesman. The other I'll get later |

Band A Fun Home in the TodayTix presale was £43, I still have my confirmation email Just checked and I went Zone C for that and it was £10. I remember thinking the seats were great, i’m Surprised they were zone c. Am now slightly annoyed i’ve gone Zone A this time around. |

Remember it may not be the same seating layout as Fun Home where pretty much every seat was face on with hardly any restricted views

The Young Vic has been known to wildly vary its layout, but I have *never* had a bad seat for my zone D £10 no matter what they've done this time.

Only downside of zone D is you might end up in the seats at the top with no legroom. But generally the view from everywhere is great whatever the layout and the distribution of zones often seems a bit random.

I caved and did Todaytix for Death of a Salesman just to save myself the scrum. Taking the Mother so didn't go for the cheapest cheap, but if I book a return trip I probably will. Never had a bad view in the YV, only a bad draft during The Inheritance.

I'm not a grammarian but I don't see anything "wrong" with the post, it's informal as hell but so is 98% of this board. Is it the draft that's reading as "wrong", 'cos I've definitely sat in cold and breezy seats at the YV before...?

Honestly draft/draught is not really a word that comes up much in day to day use so I'd never given the difference much thought. But yes, that is how I'd automatically spell it, no it wasn't autocorrect. Sorry we aren't all PERFECT like some people, but I'm glad for the HILARITY a fairly obscure not actually error caused. My GOD it must be HILARIOUS living in perfect grammar land. |

@emicardiff being a writer you could have been working on your book at the time and was not particularly happy with it when you got home, as in life context is everything and interpretation is all.

@emicardiff Sorry, was not trying to offend, as a writer working on a draft is a legitimate process which you most probably do regularly.
Therefore a bad draft is not unexpected (assumption) and both interpretations are valid even though one is extremely unlikely.

I wasn’t trying to offend either...honestly! In fact I thought it was quite funny as you write...so draft was rather an appropriate. Sorry! I am terrible at spelling and very poorly educated when it comes to grammar (I went to a very progressive 1970s school where they never taught any spelling) so people are always correcting me...and I don’t take offence...so sorry if I came over as being superior, wasn’t my intention  |

Fairly painless booking, half an hour queue and got £20 ticket for Death of a Salesman. Not booked for anything else as it's too far in the future  |

If you're thinking about seeing Tree, it looks like the majority of tickets will be standing and will cost £35 (I'm picturing Here Lies Love all over again) so if you like to sit or get the cheapest tickets, then don't dawdle booking that one.

I was looking at 'Tree,' Baemax and ended up not booking for it because (am I right?) all tickets were £35 and everything downstairs standing?
