Tempted to go to this next week given the great reviews but for those who’ve seen it do you need to be a fan of the movie, because the movie wasn’t really my thing?! Absolutely not. I'd say the opposite! |

I've never seen the film but after seeing the musical I read the short story & looked up the plot of the film and, apart from the basic of a man called Benjamin Button ageing backwards, the 3 versions have pretty much nothing else in common with each other. Ahhh okay, thanks! |

The rest of the run is now completely sold out! I’ve seen a lot of buzz (deservedly) on social media with constant streams of praise.
I could see this working somewhere like Charing Cross?

Twitter is alive with calls for a transfer. I saw this on Tuesday and was blown away by the music, staging and performance of the 5 actor/musicians. In this age of affectation and fake news I found this a delightfully innocent and authentic show, full of real emotion. Please please transfer this so that more people can see it.

Last Saturday's matinee was being filmed. I hope this was for the V&A's National Video Archive of Performance. This is definitely one of those productions that deserves to be preserved.
This was a superb production. I demand Rufus Norris arranges for it to transfer to the Dorfman immediately!

Old friend of mine saw this and cannot stop raving about it..he is talking about this in the same vein as some of the big MT blockbusters...sounds like a real winner...hope it has a future life beyond Southwark.

....however now I come to think of it, the friend who adored CCOBB once recommended Jersey Boys to see and I personally despised it so now I am having second thoughts on this lol 😂
