Anyone else at the performance last night?

Stunning!

I completely understand why performances are rare, but the concert version last night
demonstrated what an excellent piece it is.

An evening I will remember for a long time!

I was there as well, have to agree it was stunning. An amazing cast and the orchestra sounded wonderful.

Didn't know anything about it before but thought the score in the majority was great. Spoke to David Thaxton after and he was telling me about all the lines they had to cut as it was too misogynistic so understand now why they don't revive it but thought it worked great as a concert version.

Definitely made me more likely to check out future LMTO concerts.
