Well, this is frustrating..
The production team have put together what might well be a brilliantly-acted production of this play. Then they've stuck it inside a black box with small windows and bad sightlines, lit it so nothing is visible half the time, and made you listen to it through headphones at a volume that hurts the ears whenever the character starts to talk loudly.
There may well be a coherent intellectual justification for presenting the play like this, but for the audience, it's entirely un-engaging. This is a script that needs intimacy between audience & character, not enforced alienation.
