Personally I loved it, and would be very happy to see it transfer. I would imagine there will be a recording of some description too, going by the cryptic tweets. Hopefully it's not an album full of Barlow singing every number. I can see this coming over for a limited run in a small ish west end venue, and extending to open ended run (with some luck). It's definitely one of the best shows I've seen - especially considering some of the tripe in the WE beforehand and presently. I'd love to see it transfer too! The cryptic tweets are very weird, I would love to see what they actually mean. I think the Phoenix would suit it quite well, small ish venue so could run abit longer there, especially with Gary Barlow's name behind it. Do you think they would recast certain roles to get more audiences in?? I wouldn't have thought they needed a star casting to draw in the crowds. I think that it will be sold under Gary's name for that. I adored the previous cast, especially of the calendar girls themselves. Whilst I love the sunflower with the naked lady petals, I think a re-branding needs to happen to make it stand out, if nothing else changes but the font it will be for the better.

As said on the first page, saw this in Manchester and didn't haet it as much as Burly Bear, but acknowledge they need to make vast improvements to bring this up to West End standard, the first Hal was particular bad and dragged. This could go into the Noel Coward.
Just hope they're not bringing this in to sell on Gary Barlow's name.

I also thought Noel Coward but not sure if two musicals about naked women in a row would work?? I've always thought the Phoenix but could be wrong. Claire Machin is going into Titanic so it would probably premiere later in the year. I think it could do quite well in London, I for one would defiantly go and see it. I really want them just to announce it now, been waiting for agessss!

The scene where the still life tableaux where the photos are taken were sort of funny and well done. Although that whole cakes-with-cherries-in-front-of-the-tits has been done to death. Zzzz. I suppose London won't care about the accents. We all sound the same to you I'm sure. Which is fine because you all sound the same to us too I can't see it getting any "stellar casting" George!

Haha yeah I can see it being quite a good show. Loved the film. Yeah accents won't really matter (as long as they're not awful!), as long as it's a fun and good show that's what matters! Yeah I can't see it getting any stellar casting either which is a shame but it will be nice to see some good musical theatre actresses that should be good in a show together

If it does turn out to be January then I for one wouldn't mind. Claire Machin was one of the best things about it. The West End will be unrecognisable come 2017 if it does, with lots of change on the horizon - mostly for the better.

Looks like this is definitely transferring to London with a theatre to be announced soon! If you look at their most recent Twitter post, it is a map of all London Theatres with the words "guess"

I would assume that if they put that kind of picture up, they would already have a theatre in mind or even booked.

This just feels like this story has been done to death, between the uk tours and west end run of the play and also the movie, is there an audience for a musical

I have to agree, this is kinda that show that is transferring that I am just a bit meh about. I don't really care that it is coming at all. I am sure it is great and everything but, yeah meh.
