Anyone else seen this?
I loved it. The story of a woman witnessing the effect of her suicide on those left behind. Dark drama but with a cutting comic edge too. Performed by the writer. Just a fantastic bit of that.

I'm seeing it this afternoon. It has flown under the radar for me, and I haven't really given it much thought, but after reading the basic premise it actually sounds really interesting so I'm looking forward to seeing what is in store.

I had tickets to see this at the Soho Theatre, but I hadn’t clocked the subject matter. I arrived to see big notices about graphic content, suicide and eating disorders and I just couldn’t face it. Typing that has reminded me that they gave me a credit. Need to call and see if I can use that for Undergroj s Railroad Game.
I’d be interested to know how you find it and how harrowing it is (by %age of audience crying) to help me decide if I book.

So I was pleasantly surprised to see this wasn't as depressing and dark as expected. Granted, it is sad, and it does describe sexual content, self harm and suicide vividly, but it also is very funny. It is very clever in showing the real ups and downs of mental health. One minute she is high energy and hilarious, the next she is tragic and sad. The actress/writer is fabulous and does a great job. One thing I will say, there is alot of bold lighting choices, and you can tell they basically brought strobe lights and used them to death. I am epileptic but not extreme, medication and I'm good to go, but even the lighting here made me go light headed where it wouldn't usually. So I would say anyone with epilepsy, go in with the caution from someone who has it too. But overall a good play, goes fast and she is fabulous.

Loved this. Brilliant writing, brilliant performance, superb production. Delivers a powerful message in a way that's both hilarious and devastating.

Just caught this this afternoon on its final day and so glad I did - it redeemed my London trip after the disappointment of Dark Matter. It's a very strong piece and it would be great to see it done for TV, as they did with the monologue 'Black Roses', so it could reach a wider audience.

it would be great to see it done for TV It is! There's a long interview with its writer/actor Milly Thomas in the Radio Times online about it and her work more generally.
