Jeremy Jordan just announced he is going to be in Waitress from April. Presumably on Broadway. I'd actually go and see it if it was London.

If you're wondering how Sarah O'Connor (1st cover Jenna) sounds in SUTBM head over to Marisha's instagram stories.

If you're wondering how Sarah O'Connor (1st cover Jenna) sounds in SUTBM head over to Marisha's instagram stories. Thanks! It’s hard to tell from those clips out of context of the show but she has a really nice voice, if maybe nothing spectacular. If Katharine is off for any reason would she go on as Jenna first, or would Olivia Moore?

I believe Sarah was Jenna in rehearsals when Katharine wasn't there - so I would assume Sarah is first cover.

Spoken to a few cast and there are no set 1st and 2nd covers yet. The cast who have been part of the first set of rehearsals i.e Sarah as Jenna, Olivia as Dawn will be more likely to get on first. To me though it seems as I would of predicted the first covers anyway but maybe they didnt want to set anything in stone from the get go.

I thought that Olivia was first cover for both Jenna and Dawn but apparently not.

Olivia’s listed first in the programme but it’s just alphabetical I think. I think Sarah probably is first cover Jenna seeing as Olivia’s pretty young and is already 1st cover Dawn anyway.

A friend queued up for day seats for us this morning, he was 2nd in the queue at 7:18 and was given C12 & C13 in the Dress Circle (usually £72.50) for tonight, so it seems they aren't always offering terrible seats as day seats - very happy!

I find it a bit confusing with both listed as Jenna covers but Olivia is ensemble and an understudy but Sarah is a swing. It must be frustrating being a Jenna cover not knowing when or if you’ll ever get the chance to come on!

Such a shame, I loved this show and really would love to see it run a few years. But just checked the seating plan for tonight and there are swathes of unsold seats, with dynamic pricing not even kicking in. 11 full price front row tickets still available, let alone another 70+ in the stalls.
I think if this show has any chance of surviving it needs to start discounting and spreading the word. Whilst it received glowing reviews, it needs some more exposure to the public. A few performances on TV wouldn't go amiss as I doubt Sunday Brunch brought in loads of customers....

I just checked this Friday evening out of idle curiosity - essentially 50% stalls unsold still at this point.

My advice is if you haven’t seen this show yet, and want to- book it quick. Very quick.

My advice is if you haven’t seen this show yet, and want to- book it quick. Very quick. This is such a shame! Beautiful show, just not the right house at all, so sad for all involved. Is there any way this could even run at a lower capacity in the Adelphi, it's still a big house, and surely the running costs aren't massive? Discounted and marketed correctly I could see it having a year. I'm so sad and this isn't even confirmed yet!

This show could've had a massive run in any other small house- just shows the producers shouldn't have jumped at the Adelphi and waited for a considerably smaller house.

I'm meant to be seeing it in exactly 3 weeks tomorrow night! Do we think it'll still be open then? I loved it on Broadway last year and would hate to miss out seeing it here 😬

I am sure it will be open in three weeks. If it is to close soon I would imagine it will be when Katherine leaves.

Really do feel that this is a case of the show being in the wrong theatre. The pricing doesn’t help though, especially given it’s not a well known film over here. I’ve taken the gamble and booked a cheap upper circle ticket for next week. Can’t lie I’m hoping this’ll work in my favour and I’ll be upgraded, if not I’ll see what the views like from the very top/back of the theatre.
