The joy of making a themed username so that people don't address you by your actual name (well, most of you have probably seen me on Twitter, but whatever).

I like to think of myself as infamous, I could never get rid of this name now. 😂😂 I've left this board maybe four times now and everytime I've come back, I've just felt weird having anything but this name.

I don't even know how to pronounce my username. My thought when joining was "ooh, I'll use the name for one of my favourite shows, but in another language to sound pretentious!".

Does anyone officially know any of the covers/understudies ? The website has the cast and their covers but doesn't actually say the names of the cast other than the leads. There's some that I think are obvious but it's always good to know for sure.

I'm not sure how I feel about the video. I'm very excited about Laura Baldwin. I loved her in Eugenius.

Enough drama kids. I'm sure RC didn't mean any disrespect.
Anyway, I have no idea what KMP stands for but I'm gonna use it from now on.

I don't think that it was the best idea to invite the press and film these songs on the 3rd (or 4th) day of rehearsals, but I understand that it had to be done as, apparently Katharine is already back in the US (someone on here had correctly predicted that she would only attend the first and last week of rehearsals). So, given. the circumstances I think they did really well, and David Hunter is already my favorite Pomatter after Drew. {Spoiler - click to view} That being said, I think that Katharine's voice is not back at its full force and I hope there's no permanent damage. It's not noticeable for someone who hasn't heard her sing the score before, though.

Am i the only one who's slightly put off by this video? I love this show and i already have tickets to go on my birthday, but the vocals just seem... off? Maybe i've just listened to the OBCR too much and am not used to new voices? But there seems to be *something* missing Oh, I was totally put off by this video. I do not know this show at all and I realise that although they need media attention I think showing an early rehearsal is a mistake. The show should be called Bake Off - The Musical! During the first song A Soft Place to Land I expected Mary Berry to pop up and start judging and Paul Hollywood to appear and try and date one of the girls! Mind you that might have made the number more exciting! What was all that "movement" about, swaying around - had they been on the cooking sherry? I struggled to watch the 12 minute video - I can't see me sitting through this at all! I'm not the target market I don't think! I am sure the show MUST be better than that? I think it will need very positive reviews and word of mouth! Missing Kinky Boots already! David Hunter has clearly got a lease on his dressing room!

Life is too short to sit through 12 minute rehearsal videos.
I've booked a ticket out of curiosity and will go in there not knowing anything about the show. Just how I like it.

Can’t get 80 year old husband fly here or something?!

I think shows often have more staying power than people predict. I remember people question whether Kinky Boots would last more than a year and it did. People questioned whether ETAJ would even survive a year and it did, and is still there going fairly well. It may surprise.

I wonder what they're going to do... maybe bring the new Jenna (post-Katharine) in for a bit, or rehearse with the first cover? Agree on Katharine's voice, she wasn't really pushing it at all and didn't do the high riffy bit in What Baking Can Do. She has a gorgeous tone though.

That video has actually made me want to go and see this. Hadn’t heard any of the music before, and turns out it wasn’t what I was expecting (in a good way). Anyone know if there are plans for rush on TodayTix?

Oooooooh. Passive aggressive much Sara? She should have just gone the full on LuPone. Patti wouldn't have wasted her time posting videos on Instagram after the event "oh we love you being there but please don't film us, boo hoo". She'd have ripped out that person's throat, put it back in and ripped it out again. For fun.
Amateur.
And don't even get me started on that hat.
Does anybody still wear a hat?

I tried watching the viedo, having never heard any of the music before, and I'm afraid it didn't do much for me. I didn't have a problem with the singing, not having anything else to compare it to, but the songs themselves sounded very bland and, well, "cutesy". A couple of hours later I can't remember a note of them. Oh well, I suppose I'm not the target audience for this anyway, given I hate baking & never do any!

It will be the blandest score in the West End come February IMHO - inoffensive but bland; no idea how it's made it this far. That said I find Dear Evan Hansen bland so what do I know....
