The Adelphi has one of the worst Dress Circles in the West End. Wherever you are sitting you have no leg room whatsoever unless you have an aisle seat. The view can also be very obstructed if you get tall people in front as there’s no much of a rake. Stalls on the other hand has very decent leg room in most seats

You're welcome. That's my personal view, of course. Always remember to check the Theatre Monkey's website for advice on where to sit

Side seats, front row of the Dress seem a bargain for £29?

Does anybody know if one can book a ticket for the opening night performance? If they have one, of course.

I've just seen a trailer for the the London production on Instagram. I find it interesting it is of Jessie paired with the two current girls playing the friends? Its a trailer I've never seen before, so it just seems interesting to go out of their way to film a trailer with Jessie unless she isn't going to be playing Jenna in London, because otherwise you'd just use a current cast member surely?

I don't think that this is a new trailer. This is the Broadway cast after Keala and Kimiko left the show. Only Charity Angel Dawson is still playing Becky, but on tour.

Caitlyn (Dawn) and Charity (Becky) took over the roles before Jessie left the production, so I’m sure that it’s a leftover from the Broadway production.

Anything half decent int he stalls is 99.50...some dates have 3rd or 4th row for the regular price but these prices are insane. And its a very mediocre show. Sign

Thank you so much, @theatremonkey! Do you have an idea of when Waitress would officially open? Is it the same evening as press night?

Press night and opening night are the same thing. depends - I would class the opening night as the first performance, though the press night is of course the official opening!

I like Waitress. But this production isn't giving me anything to work with. Boring social media using REHEARSAL footage of the Broadway cast (why would you do that when there is full production footage already filmed of the OBC, Sara and the tour?) and lack of cast announcements.

It doesn't open for months yet and tickets are only just going on sale, so your expectations for what they should be doing are more than a little too high in my opinion...have some patience!

To clarify on my answer to the press night/ opening night question, I was speaking about this particular instance.❤
Anyway I'm super excited about this show - all the promo featuring Jessie is making me WISH she'd come over. Obviously that's not gonna happen but still.. a girl can dream!

How can they announce casting of something which hasn’t been cast yet?? The casting brief hasn’t even gone out....

Is it a full cast announcement? I could see them only announcing Jenna if not. The artwork has always had the actress playing Jenna front and centre so from a marketing perspective it makes sense.

So, Sara is in London. Do we have info about any Waitress related events? Someone mentioned a press conference, I suppose that's where Sara will do this secret performance for the contest winners. Is that happening at the Adelphi?

She definitely wouldn't sell tickets on her name alone but I'd love to see Siobhan Dillion play Jenna. She'd absolutely kill it.
