That means nothing. Shows announce booking extensions all the time to try and give the impression they are doing well. And then close 2 weeks later. But even on a quiet Monday night it’s playing to 80% capacity. So I’m not sure where the doom and gloom is coming from - it’s had a period of having to close the upper circle and survived it and has now got another huge promotional push with Ashley. The Weisslers aren’t stupid - they have a reputation of saving money and saving face. If it was flopping as bad as you have made out repeatedly, they’d be calling it a limited run and not extending. Interestingly, in the USA, you can see the box scores for the entire three year run and it averages around 60% yet shows no signs of closing, despite gloommongers there too. Oh dear. You obviously don’t understand how many of those seats are comps. I liked the show by the way and I don’t wish anyone out of a job. But the way this show has run has been a shocker and they deserve for it to close.

Where did you find it if you don't mind me asking? Twitter this morning. Although took me around 45 minutes! It was an experience, to say the least. Managed to find it relatively easily and wasn't very positive listening to it but went back and listened to Kimiko Glenn live (original Broadway Dawn) and Laura Baldwin and although they were definitely better, she didn't sound so drastically worse that she'd ruin the show or anything.

But the way this show has run has been a shocker and they deserve for it to close. Just who is getting these comps though? The general public aren't getting any dynamic pricing - it's on Today Tix for rush seats, but even those can be sporadic (sometimes odd stalls seats, sometimes dress circle), and there is a £10 upgrade on some sites, but it's still not reduced at TKTS - it's £1 more expensive per seat. Last night I went to see Ashley et al, and in front of me was a gaggle of tourists all buying tickets there and then at the box office, holding me up from collecting my Today Tix ticket. I know someone FOH at the Adelphi, and the staff aren't even given free tickets, just reduced price. Also - if they can give enough comps out to apparently nearly fill the theatre on some quiet Mondays and Tuesdays, why haven't they done that the whole run? It does look like they've closed the upper circle next Mon and Tues again, which hasn't happened in a good few weeks, so if it's comps, why have they had to do that?!

Is there a date Laura is due to be back? 8 weeks was mentioned a couple of times by David Hunter on Saturday in his post-show speech so that would make Monday 12th August seem the most likely date.

I'm confused; some parts genuinely sounded ok, others sounded like she was physically in pain. Wow, that was an experience. Like you say, some parts were fine, but she sounded exhausted before she'd even got to the chorus!

Bad idea bears have just rung me from Avenue Q...why don’t we have a daily countdown clock on the site telling us all how many weeks, days, hours and seconds until LB returns, just to make Ash feel better about herself?😜

Todrick Hall announced as Ogie alongside Collen Ballinger as Dawn for BWay this summer. This is perfect stunt casting; Todrick will sound great as Ogie!

What i don't really think is ideal is if you play merry hell because an actress has just lost her job (temporarily) due to a bit of stunt casting but in the next breath seem gleeful about the prospect of the entire show closing and thus tens of actors and creatives losing their jobs. I'm seeing a lot of this, especially on twitter.

It has been dipping to the 50-60% lately so it needed something over in Broadway and this is fabulous - both are fantastic, talented singers. I have no problem with stunt casting as long as they are talented enough to carry the role and these two definitely are.

Collem/Miranda sings has a huge fan base so she'll pull in a lot of patrons from that sector. Maybe we should start a countdown until Laura returns . I wonder if David Hunter has been asked to make a speech at KMP's wedding?

I’m glad someone captured this from Kat’s last show on Sat because it was too cute. The little Lulu, Arabella, put her arm around Kat during the speeches and all of us in the audience awed at the cuteness! 😆 This kid is so adorable (and confident!), I think she’s gonna be a superstar one day! ❤️😄 http://instagram.com/p/Byx8idsnpkg

Pretty woman is coming to London and it seems it will be going to the Adelphi. Waitress flopped hard and they simply can’t get back from it at this stage.

Why are people persistent in responding to overly positive or overly negative comments. It just fuels it for either side and makes this board impossible at times. The truth will always sit somewhere between these extremes

I sat Row G in the upper and felt very disconnected from the show, so I'd go for the closer rows if you can only be in the upper circle. 😊
