There were 6000* Brexit musicals in Edinburgh Fringe this year. *slight exaggeration, but not far off.

The Battle of Rourkes Drift (the movie Zulu). Apparently, the score for this movie was a best seller in its day. Tellytubies the musical.
Xanadu based loosely on the movie and the music of ELO.

or in the style of Spamalot "Life of Brian" Eric Idle did something like this at the Albert Hall called "Not the Messiah". I have it on DVD but haven't got around to seeing it yet after that abysmal Christmas TV show he did with Brian Cox.

I’d love to see ‘Dinnerladies’ adapted into a musical, but realise that it’s highly unlikely.

Surprised there hasn’t been one on Henry VIII.
You can have 6 leading ladies, with an execution in the first and second half.
Also one about Lady Jane Grey or the Nine Day Queen would be fascinating, you can pack it with emotion, as her life story lends itself to that, she was beheaded at the age of 17. it also draws in Mary I into the story - It could easily be a modern day Evita.

Surprised there hasn’t been one on Henry VIII. Check out “Rex” by Richard Rodgers, Sheldon Harnick and Sherman Yellen.

It would be nice to see a mash up of ethnicities in a musical. West Side Story collides with Fiddler on the Roof via Jamaica. Kind a thing. Lots of dancing. With humour but no stereotypes.

At the Edinburgh Fringe, I was handed about 20 flyers about Brexit musicals. I think we’ll be okay re that subject.
