Following All My Sons at the Old Vic, this depression era based play will be the second in the Arthur Miller double-bill.
Very large cast.
Last seen at the Finborough in 2012.

The YV and Lyttleton are each doing a year of exclusively American work. The Old Vic All My Sons is an American play with an American cast and an American director too. This obsession with America is very odd. |

Yeah fair point but AC does surely need some names or the Old Vic is going to be a lonely place. Just to cheese you off even more i see the Ustinov Studio in Bath are going to do what they are calling a season of contemporary American drama. Doesnt look that amazing at first glance. |

i saw this at the Finborough a few years ago but had only vaguely remembered it until I was reminded that it included an early scene about an exhibition of photos from the Great Depression in the US. Work inspired by Studs Terkel, famed for his Chicago radio programmes and various books about all sorts of topics based on his recordings of Joe and Josephine Public.
Once again, well done to the Finborough for being adventurous enough to stage this at the time. I've seen lots of productions there down the years, whereas only twice have I attended the Old Vic whose distinction I don't doubt — The Duchess of Malfi and The Crucible. In each case of using these theatres, habits I've got into or never got into.

"Casting has been announced for the upcoming revival of The American Clock at the Old Vic.
The cast includes Amber Aga, Paul Bentall, Greg Bernstein, Clare Burt, Flora Dawson, Abhin Galeya, Fred Haig, Jyuddah Jaymes, John Marquez, Francesca Mills, Taheen Modak, Christian Patterson, Golda Rosheuvel, Abdul Salis, Josie Walker and Ewan Wardrop. Further casting is yet to be announced."

Received a new e-ticket today, been moved from central row D to central row H, there is some Stage Stalls seating that I cannot remember being there when I originally booked.
Has the seating plan been revised? and anybody else been relocated?
