keekio2 it’s just the week in Manchester before London so I’d guess all the London cast will do that week (except for Beverley because she’s not leaving Drifters Girl until a few days before the London run stars), nice warm up for them before London. alece10 yes Beverley announced she was leaving Drifters Girl in early July about a week ago, I guess in preparation for this announcement!

It's a barn of a place and doesn't have any atmosphere. I used to go there in the late 70s, early 80s as all the soul concerts were there. Chic, Earth Wind and Fire, Commodores, Bootsie Collins. Ah those were the days 😀 |

So chuffed to see Beverley IS doing it! And with that supporting cast I may have to go even though it’s not my favourite musical. Would anyone who’s been to the Apollo be able to tell me what the front blocks of the circle are like for a musical please? I’ve only ever been to concerts there. Thank you!

It's tricky as some people have held on to their more expensive tickets so I guess they can't reduce prices across the board! I moved from rear circle to side stalls when Whoopi dropped out for around £30 and just booked another one as I love this cast! (and means I can sit the other side and see anything I missed!) |

I can’t believe you lot guessed half the cast based on a small teaser! I’m surprised you guys haven’t figured out who killed Jon Benet Ramsey with those detective skills! You’re an amazing bunch.
I’m enjoying Keala’s stay in the UK but I feel like the roles she’s taking aren’t quite up to her talents. I really hope she gets a leading role worthy of that insane voice.

Glad to see Lizzie Bea as Mary Robert instead of the 'easy' casting and giving her Mary Patrick (who should be a little older, anyway). Now there's a role that can and should be opened up to more people!

In 2020, I predicted that Lesley Joseph would play Sister Mary Lazarus at Eventim Apollo and also be on standby to cover for Jennifer Saunders. Can’t believe I was right. Incredible.

Beverley Knight is great, but she is not a big draw as she once was, as she has done theatre to death (she certainly got the call) and it is a massive place to sell out.
Just looked at the seating map for several performances and many seats apparentley sold maybe 70% already. Well I wonder if that is true?
