I've just seen this in an interview with JRB: "Q: Honeymoon in Vegas recently had an acclaimed concert version in London. Any talk about a full production in London?
JRB: I’m not in a position to say too much about it but I believe there is a big plan for the UK for Honeymoon in Vegas, which I’m very excited about.
Q: Stephen Sondheim has said he loves the show’s songs, but some people thought the plot (which includes a man putting his fiancée up in a poker game) would’ve been better set in an earlier era. Others said it was too long. Would you consider tinkering with the show?
JRB: I’m not ruling out anything, but the concert version we did in London consisted of the entire script and score and it was a fantastic experience for all of us and it felt like what I wanted the show to feel like. I don’t think we’ll throw too much under the bus."
Sounds promising for a London Production. I obviously would prefer a production of BRIDGES, but this will do in the meantime. Wonder where it will be? I can't imagine it being a big, glossy West End production. Maybe somewhere like the Southwark Playhouse, or Charing Cross? Charing Cross theatre promised a Tony award winning show there and Honeymoon wasn't even nominated, so I doubt it's going there.

Given that it's based on a reasonably well-known film, I could see it going the '9 to 5' route and touring.

It was a fantastic show at the Palladium. The audience clearly loved it too, it was electric! I'd love to see a full UK production, whether it be touring, West End or otherwise.

I think Sam is going to be a bit too busy- replacing her with someone as good in that role would be crucial, but not impossible.

She's on Broadway in Pretty Women.

More realistically I’d have thought if she was to come back to London it’d be for Mary Poppins (once done in Pretty Woman obviously).
