For those of us lucky enough to see this wonderful musical at the Landor Theatre three years ago, there's soon going to be an all-star cast recording to enjoy.
The casting confirmed so far is Christine Allado as Constance, Ramin Karimloo as Abraham, Fra Fee as Will Riley, Matthew Croke as Henry Glynn, and Lauren James Ray as Amelia.
Now, if only they could be "coming into town today" for a new production of the show too!

The Other Palace should be staging new production of BRITISH musicals like this and not imports like Big Fish or Heathers.

Really looking forward to the recording, I loved this at the Landor, would love to see it again Ditto. The Best Musical (fringe), I have seen, everyone who saw it on this board or the old one loved it, the problem the creators couldn’t make it that bridge to the producers, if it did I am sure it would have been snapped up. I agree this would be perfect for the Other Palace and upscaled, much better than Eugenius and was it Exposure that was excruciatingly terrible. Cannot agree with instead of Big Fish which I really enjoyed. Anyway a cast recording with big name show attached may give this a second life (fingers crossed).

I know nothing about this show, but I'll give it a try! That's a really good line-up.

I’ve relistened this little gem of a show and I’m ugly ceying now. I miss it so much! I’ve been dreaming of seeing it again since May 2015!

Number 2 on the UK iTunes soundtrack chart which is pretty cool.

It seems that a new production of The Clockmaker's Daughter could be in the pipeline.
Maybe we might also see a song from the show performed at West End Live? That fits with the date of 23rd June.
Excited to see what's in store in Spindlewood!

After seeing Carousel there tonight I have to give this a go. Well priced too, with a welcome senior citizen discount. Front row seat booked.

Oh it’s such a joy to watch this concert after being entranced by this musical nearly four years ago. Boy was the music glorious to listen to. And it’s great to see performers like John Owen Jones, Wendi Peters and Fra Free in this
Disappointed though they didn’t do the very, split second ending I remember from the landor production

I enjoyed the show. So glad to see JOJ in a new role along with talented young actors. However, I couldn't believe how bad the sound quality was. It was like listening to a copy of a recording someone made with her/his cheap IC recorder hidden in her/his bag. A bit of a waste of such good actors.

I've been considering buying the cast recording for this show, it looks intriguing. For those familiar with the album, might you be able to advise if the songs alone give a clear idea of the plot, or alternatively if the album comes with a synopsis in the liner notes? This show looks to be a version of a classic type of story, so the general gist is probably easy to grasp. But I would prefer being able to know the plot details when listening along if possible. (Thank you in advance!)

This thread has weirdly come up to the top of the board again, even though that previous post of mine was made last year. I'm guessing somebody made a newer post but it isn't showing up (yet) for some reason? In any case, seeing this thread again prompted me to check, and the cast album is now available on Spotify, and probably other services too. (Maybe that's what the 'invisible post' was about? If so, thank you, whoever you are!)

Guilty as charged. I posted something I shouldn't have following a discovery about this show which was quite rightly removed. My apologies to moderators and members.
