I have both recordings, but bought the original one a few years ago on eBay. You could try there. I personally think that the Hatter has two of the best songs in the show and they're both big power ballads. Now with the addition of a new song with Alice, the Hatter may end up being the slightly better part (with the exception of 'Finding Wonderland' - which is the best song). Alice's other songs are a bit ordinary IMO. Still looking forward to seeing it though. Does Natalie McQueen do the huge 'mad' belting ending to 'I Will Prevail' or does she do the slightly lower modified ending like Kate Shindle had to adopt during the course of her run? Thank you! I shall have a look on eBay and Amazon. As for "I Will Prevail", Natalie did do the huge belting at the end and it was just brilliant!

I would also recommend Pia Douwes' rendition of Finding Wonderland, which appears in a Frank & WIldhorn Friends recording. Easily found on iTunes. Amazing rendition with a bombastic orchestra. Chills.

I also meant to ask: there are two recordings? The one I have found is the Original Broadway Cast recording from 2011 which I have found on Amazon: www.amazon.co.uk/Wonderland-Original-Broadway-Cast/dp/B004RV6ZW0What is the other recording that you have?

The Broadway production had a tryout in Florida first, I think, and there was a recording of that pre-Broadway production. It's the same cast and there are fewer songs. Some of the songs are completely different; others are earlier versions of the songs that survived. This recording has a blue design rather than the orangey one. Some of the tracks are on YouTube (or were in the past).

Saw the show tonight and I was very impressed.
Yes it's a bit slow in places and Wendy is in it all of 25 minutes but Kerry's voice is worth the ticket money alone. I thought she was really excellent.
Was so pleased to see Natalie McQueen as the Mad Hatter too. She really was brilliant. The duet she sang with Kerry gave me goosebumps.
Supporting cast were outstanding. Loud rustlers and the family near me who were taking constantly throughout were not.
Would really recommend seeing this!

Also behaviour in the theatre was excellent. Can't say the same for 2 ladies at Stage Door afterwards who demanded to the theatre staff that the cast come or and see them. Kerry had been and gone back to her digs but that was it because the cast were attending press drinks. They were so rude arguing with theatre staff it was embarassing!

Well I'm going Saturday too and if they start with that nonsense they'll be "telt".
Self policing 👍

I really wish they were do a cast recording of this production as a few of the songs have been added/changed since the Broadway recording.
Also, does anyone have any ideas of Natalie McQueen's Hatter schedule? I've heard she does some matinees but is there specific performances she doesn't do? I'm considering catching Wonderland again at some point.

Surely she must do all the matinees, since Michelle Pentecost (alt Alice/Hatter) is on as Alice at the matinees. Michelle doesn't seem to have been on as the Hatter yet, nor has she posted to say she's got a scheduled first date. I'm still holding out hope for some time next week in Birmingham.

Natalie tweeted someone saying she's off a couple of nights in the Birmingham run. Just found the tweet and she's off weds and Thurs night so unless she's ill in the meantime the Weds will be Michelle's first show
Also you know when Michelle is on as she tweets a blue heart for Alice or a purple heart for Hatter.
